  1. Farke took over at Norwich in May 2017 and had a really underwhelming first season, lost best players (Alex Pritchard, James Maddison, Murphy twins, Gunn); but the usually impatient Norwich fans were patient because the manager had a plan. This season leading the Championship with a group of players with no obvious stars. A lesson for us possibly?
  2. The article is not ranking teams on how entertaining their style of play is, just ranking them on how consistently they stick to an identifiable style (i.e. Entertaining - Man City, boring and defensive - Newcastle)
  3. 1. Monkou at Norwich - still gives me the shivers to think of it 2. Alec Lindsay - looping headed o.g at the Dell to give Saints a 1:0 win over Liverpool 3. Chris Marsden - mazy dribble at Ipswich 4. Channon - 89th minute winner against champions Everton (1970) 5. Jimmy Gabriel - header against Spurs, my first Saints goal (1969)
  4. The drinks are on Fudpucker !!!!!!!!
  5. Can someone set up one of those vote things?
  6. I notice we haven't had a vote for MoM for the Burnley game; I was thinking of tracking MoM votes through the season to see how we rate players over the season. Still time to start with Burnley?

    Danny Ings

    Brilliant! :-)
  8. Yes, great attacking left back for Norwich
  9. Yes, highly rated by Norwich fans.
  10. If it's any consolation, last time I saw him play (0:2 Norwich defeat at home to Cardiff) the only interesting thing he did all game was go on a mazy dribble in the wrong direction and lost the ball in his own area! Our Harry Reed on the other hand had a good game....
  11. Redmond wasn't even that great in division 2, pretty much the same as he is for us
  12. 24-48 !
  13. Talk in Norwich is that it's a done deal, 24-28 hours to finalise.
  14. Jenkins (Tommy) instead of Paul Jones, if only for that goal at West Ham
  15. Frannie instead of Frank Saul
  16. I thought Cedric had a good game, especially going forward.
  17. Another vote for Ron Davies from me!

For Young England team he looked superb as the number 10 playmaker, centre of midfield using a range of passes to dictate the play, in addition to his superb dead ball skills. I wonder if he will ever be able to step up to do this for Saints?
  19. Right tactics for the games in question, doesn't mean that is how he will always set us out.
  20. Well done Mark Hughes, job done!
  21. "Genuinely don't give two sh1ts that we lost...WE ARE STAYING UP!!!!!!!!! " Absolutely right !!! I was ready to celebrate a 1:3 defeat, and the performance was better than we could have reasonably expected... so... let's enjoy!
  22. Our game live on Sky Sports Mix
  23. Suze is a highly valued member of Saintslist and a Saints fan through and through so I suggest you try a bit harder to believe her story and bear in mind that not everyone bothers with Twitter.

    Redmond

Nor did the Norwich fans see it consistently in his time there! Struggled to make the starting 11 for a poor Norwich side (despite flashes of early promise). I'm afraid I saw this frustration coming when we signed him. Will be delighted to be proved wrong for the rest of the season!
  25. You only have yourself to blame....
