It's tricky when the fans have been given rubbish the past few years, but the home support is pretty poor either way. The only version of "Oh when the Saints" that is sung is slow and boring and would struggle to lift anyone, but even then SMS is dead even compared to the last 5 years. I watched the Pompey game last night, and it embarrassed me that every time the Ref gave a free kick against them they were on his back. It's the same with a lot of teams, especially Liverpool, the fans scream at the ref. We just sit there and wonder why decisions don't go our way. Something has to give though. It's chicken and egg, good away performances when the fans are said to be good. Maybe home fans need to suck it up and put in the effort that they expect of the players........

Popped into the store today to see about getting my 2 year old a shirt for Christmas as I had the last 2 years (even though it looks horrible). Unfortunately, although saints ordered young child shirts, UA didn't make them so there wont be any this year.

To be fair, my 1 year old daughter's kit from last year has the Virgin logo peeling and is different shades of red and she probably wore it no more than 10 times. The quality is abysmal

But it's not as if we have much option to keep him. He's made it clear to the coaching staff that we wants to go whatever. Ralph has made it clear he only wants dedicated players and has not played him all pre season, and taken is place, locker etc in the dressing room.

Does it make much difference to Saints if they do sell? I thought Under Armour paid for the right to make the shirts, it's up to them to sell enough of them?

You're assuming that UA make the shirts themselves. If they sub contract the manufacture of the shirt, or printing the logo of the sponsor to China or India, then that's also a 3rd party. My guess is the peeling sponsor logo thats been seen was not the only shirt c**ked up, and someone is having to make a whole new batch of shirts! Not technically the fault of UA, but the sub contractor.

There's been more of these knock offs recently. Especially international kits during the world up. They are different but dont look bad. When they say 3rd party, they probably mean the Chinese sweat shop used material away from specification.

I think it's been said that until we shift one or two first.......
