I don't claim to be ITK about Saints.... But I can categorically tell you that they were. EDIT - Re-reading your post, what you are saying could well have been the case in the way it was played by the agent.

There have been some complications. Mane and Wanyama were supposed to be doing a rap in the middle. Saints have based their whole Summer transfer policy on rebuilding the lineup (Pied plays a mean jazz flute). PEH was brought in for his hip hop abilities but we really need to get Boufal over the line if this is to have legs. Changing the settings on the black box to search for musical prowess has caused no end of trouble behind the scenes and Les Reed and Ross Wilson had to travel to Motown last week for some inspiration. Ralph Krueger insists on everyone calling him 'The Colonel' now and Shane Long isn't allowed to speak during games to rest his voice. I'm worried priorities at the club have got skewed.

I want us to sign Erkin just to see Liverpool fans reaction. They really wanted him and he turned them down for Inter. Yes I am petty. -

We are being linked with Turkish left back Caner Erkin from Inter Milan. Time run out for Matt Targett? -
New songs to reflect our wonderful position as a club

I like this one. Should sing it at anyone who has overspent on average players e.g. Everton/Palace -
Barry Venison (director of football at OC Blues FC) has said they are false accusations. Rogers comments:-

BREAKING NEWS. Southampton can confirm the sale of a caramel latte to Costa Waterloo for £5.50. Caramel Latte had only joined Southampton from Starbucks for £3.50 earlier in the day. Edit - What a **** and obvious joke. Sorry. -

Saints Won, Watford 1.....Post match meltdown

Some huge overreactions. Poor first half, decent second half, should have won. PEH, Redmond and Pied all looked good on debut. Tadic was sharp. It's the opening day. We didn't lose. -

Now this is a story all about how, Our lives got flipped, turned upside down, And I'd like to take a minute, Just sit right there, I'll tell you how we became the princes of forum refresh stare. In west quay shopping centre born and raised On the twitter was where I spent most of my days Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool And all shooting some bullcrap arguing with fools When a couple of itks who were up to no good Started making rumours in my neighborhood I got one little sight and my eyes got snared They said, "Saints are signing someone, left sided with flair" I begged and pleaded with them day after day But they sealed their lips and sent me on my way They gave me a snippet and then gave me my ticket. I put my Walkman on and said, "I might as well click it." -

Did any of you see McCarthy play for Palace? I'd rather stick with Gazza, who was decent when called upon last season. -

Decided I wasn't doing it justice so wrote this:- http://georgeweahscousin.com/jose-fonte-our-constant-our-legend/

Had a bicker with someone on twitter who doesn't think Fonte is worthy of 'legend' status. For me he definitely does. Been part of our rise from the bottom back to where we belong and even higher. Vital goal at Brighton, JPT, consistent defender, captain, took an Osvaldo headbutt and now a European champion. He's as eligible as Rickie in my opinion. Put him on the banner!

I think that is accurate, I perhaps should have added that he is has a terrible record as a 'manager' though. Much like Sammy Lee, Brian Kidd etc. he seems to be one who should stick to coaching, although I think Coventry fans thought he was an OK boss too. As I understand it, up to six overage players can play.... Silly idea though.

....my take on outgoings/manager/kit. http://georgeweahscousin.com/the-comprehensive-saints-summer-update-part-1/
-
I would be finished with football if that happened.
-
Total non-story. Anyone 'progresses' their career by moving anywhere. I do fear for Long though, but I don't think he'll be looking for a move. A new manager may not rate him though, Koeman's style suited him, and it took him a while to figure that out.

I like the idea that.... .....Saints told Ronald sign or go. That left Ronald with a quandary as his 'plan' seemed to be to see out his contract at Saints and then get a move to an Arsenal or such like. But the only available job right now is mid-table mediocrity at Everton. They are offering big bucks so he decides to risk it, but ultimately this won't have been the next move he would have been hoping for. Add to the mix that the Everton owner has barely been their 5 minutes and already sacked a manager. I would presume he is expecting an immediate return for the big salary on offer. Saints can now go and get someone like Emery and de Boer and potentially this time next year we will be reflecting on them having had the last laugh, while Ronald queues at the West Kirby job centre having only managed to take Everton minus Lukaku to a paltry 8th position...
