  1. I've always thought that Armstrong is an asset to the side. Unspectacular, unfashionable but does the simple stuff well and effective. I'd want us to make space for him to at least be available off the bench.
  2. Well, aren't you a bucket of unicorns.
  3. Used PayPal to pick up a PSG, Real Betis, France and Argentina shirt from a similar supplier not too long ago. All decent quality and indistinguishable from the genuine item. I guess that, unless you pay out £100+ for a 'player issue' version, you're ultimately getting a cheap ill-fitting piece of polyester for printed vinyl for your £55. My only issue way the sleeve patch starting to peel off the Betis shirt after a few washes, i'd expect your DL Sports logo to do the same. International shirts, however, last a long time and a well made.
  4. Home keeper's had a worldie
  5. Because we voted in laissez faire, free market economic policy across three decades. So we have Thatcher and Reagan to thank fro Gallagher being sold.
  6. I'm sure I remember reading that the shirts on display were just that, display shirts with cheap, temporary logos to show what it will look like. will not be the quality of the final shirt..
  7. hmm between him and Ings we could end up spending 35million on consistently injured players.
  8. It's not your wife though, is it? its a bloke who got a big pay raise and a move to a club that couldve easily delivered league titles, campions league and domestic cup success as well as domestic cups. Plus putting him on a bigger stage for international selection. If you think, as a football player, you wouldn't have done the same thing, you're blinded by your support.
  9. A glorious return for this gem
  10. That is literally the most Shane Long thing I have ever seen
  11. Do I remember us looking at the Chris Mepham at one stage? looks gash
  12. May have already been highlighted but Brighton have some horrible fixtures left. Lose to Cardiff and they could be in real trouble.
  13. Cardiff have four very winnable games. And, of course, one cannot rule out them picking up points against Liverpool and/or Man Utd. Call me a bed wetter but I feel this could be very close.
  14. 5 points clear with equal games played and Liverpool game done. would've taken this a few weeks ago. Great performance tonight. Lads should be proud
  15. ultimately, when the third team this season is relegated, they may well be able to look at one decision like this against a 'big team'. I know it's all swings and roundabouts but think about Cardiff at Chelsea..
  16. "man up?" be smarter.
  17. I think it's going rather well...
  18. so far, so good
  19. I'm not sure why you have such an intrinsic fascination as to the choice of facial hair for young 20-something year old men but my experience tells me it is likely the manifestation of some kind of repressed sexual desire most likely related to younger males.
  20. I feel you, fam. Socialist ting.
  21. look at us sitting here with our 9 -5 bull****, commenting on millionaires running about in the sunshine.. This is all meaningless. Why am I here?, where I consider here a place, a destination. What is here? here is digital, it is hyperreal a simulation of a simulation without origin. Maybe I have created you all in a solipsistic sense. Maybe I am you and you are me which makes you only as real as I know myself to be. Sense certainty, it's all I have. It's all you have. Let us not sink our selves, our identities, our fears and ambitions into these culturally constructed deities, elevated in our ever existing search for coherent ontological narratives. they are both the heroes and villains of our personal mythos. When your alarm goes off tomorrow morning, ask yourself how free you really are.
  22. I'm always surprised that Sims didn't get more of a chance. Always seemed direct and creative when I saw him... a host of managers have now negated his inclusion in the squad, however. Was excited by him for a while.
  23. Bednarek our best CB again, what a buy.
