  1. Sounds like he ticks every box we look for.
  2. Smuggle Mateusz Klich in on an 18-month contract. Ultimate shithouse. Exactly what we're missing. Offer Cole Palmer a 6-month loan from City, because fuck it if we're going to have the City youth team, let's have the City youth team. If Newcastle bring a forward in, I'd be all over Chris Wood like a rash. Sounds right up NJ's street and would suit Che to play off of.
  3. This was my take from it. JWP's comments after the Brighton game were, somehow, more alarming than the performance itself.
  4. If that's actually NJ on the NJ Out thread... 😆
  5. Cheers Nathan.
  6. Absolutely. The loan in the first place was highly questionable considering our options are... shite.
  7. The Lincoln goal was AMN’s fault, which made for a horrible situation for any keeper and he come off worst in it. That wasn’t his fault, but could’ve done better. Lallana’s goal was a disgrace, for any keeper, at any level. He hasn’t been solid, by any means. But, a 19/20 yo keeper jumping into the Prem… Hardly going to be all plain sailing, especially when we’re playing as badly as we are. I agree he needs dropping, for his own protection more than anything else. GK’s are as much about confidence as they are ability. Problem is, that confidence stems from what you have in front of you. Little wonder he has none.
  8. Well if NJ didn’t realise what a task he has ahead of him, he does now. That was a disgraceful performance, from every man bar Sam Edozie, which says something when the only man to walk off with an ounce of dignity is a kid. JWP should be ashamed of himself, and how they can even have the nerve to mention him in the same breath as the England squad, just shows how utterly deluded our entire setup is. Diallo shouldn’t be anywhere near a Football League squad, let alone Prem. He is so bad it is painful to watch. Our recruitment has been a mess for years, and now we’ve ended up with such a collective of dross, there isn’t a way out. We can buy all the strikers we want, if we can’t catch a simple header, complete a simple pass or put a bit of bite into a simple 50/50, we’ve no hope. Gutless, spineless and a disgrace to fans who turned up. We deserve everything we’re going to get this year. Nowt. Been sleepwalking into this for a long time. Slate NJ all you want, but reality is our problems were bedding in long before he even came on the radar.
  9. I'd rather play permanently with ten men.
  10. I'm not going by just on here... It's everywhere, and very apparent.
  11. Nothing at all to do with timing. He has been slated by many for everything he does, doesn't do, says, doesn't say, wears and doesn't wear. A very fair chunk of our fanbase have completely written him off, already... And it has nothing to do with timing. The only issue with timing was with SR, who should've pumped Ralph far sooner than they did.
  12. There is far more negative, on everything NJ related I've seen, than anything remotely indifferent, let alone positive. If your finding negative in that clip of him mic'd up, you're looking for an issue. You think the club would've posted that unless they didn't think it was a positive change? Hell, from what I heard Ralph had zero involvement in training FFS! Some of the outright dismissal towards NJ already, is alarming to say the least. One bad result, say Lincoln or Brighton (god forbid both), and the war cries will be heard. At the volume I've seen it, I can't see how his position is going to feel anything but untenable unless he gets off to a miraculous start. What's it based on? Stoke? A poisoned chalice.
  13. I watched this video at the time and thought how positive it was. Then I saw a stream of pissing and moaning on this thread so assumed they'd done another one. Nope... Just the usual, looking for a negative in anything. This guy has no hope. Genuinely. The moment he has a bad result (which is inevitable), he'll be destroyed. What a joke our fanbase is. And we wonder why we're a tinpot club who can't sign a decent forward?
  14. Ahhhh jees. Poor guy man. In a big year for him, too.
  15. If NJ does a good job with us, he is owed a dastardly amount of apologies from this forum. Some incredibly fast cemented opinions, already.
  16. Jimmy Morgan (No. 7) looks very, very tidy indeed.

  18. Not the best examples I've seen at digging a player out. The first one Redmond runs into him, whilst the second we have a far bigger issue in that we're sticking JWP as our man in the mixer, with all our bigger lads having a mothers meeting past the near post. Both a comedy of errors, but harsh to stick either of those on Lyanco.
  19. First negative comment I've seen from a Luton fan on him, and I've read a fair few opinions from them. Every other shout has been glowing. They do suggest he is very much marmite though, as in expect the rest of the leagues fans to hate him, whilst we'll likely love him.
  20. Not looked at any thread today but... NJ... I like him.
  21. Delighted with this, me. Really like how he speaks, his record with what he has had is class (bar Stoke but nobody has done well there before or since) and his interview on the official website has just filled me with more confidence. Think he could really work, given time to stamp his identity and put his squad together. Talks over and over again in interviews about work rate and the will of players... So I'd expect to see a lot of changes in the next year. Not a chance a good chunk of these will survive under him.
  22. Thank fuck for that. Geezer had a face you just want to hit.
  23. Well that wasn't overly informative.
  24. NJ was reportedly Rasmus' first choice when Brentford appointed Thomas Frank.
