I am liking the prospect of NA at the helm. He is a clever bloke, proffesional and principled. As others have stated, those saying they are not happy at the thought of him coming in, are the ones who know nothing of him. Much like the lads I work with who's reaction when I said "looks like Adkins has the job", they all scrunched there faces and said "Who? Never heard of him, what a sheeite choice blah blah blah blah blah", but he has a track record of success at this level on no budget whatsoever, with young players and good football. I am looking forward to not hearing about bad pitches, not watching hoofball to lambo and hopefully not having to scream about the lack of a blatantly needed substitution that only arrives when it is too late. Those that have questioned his press conference... Did you never listen to an interview with AP? I seriously couldn't count on all my fingers, toes or limbs at how many times AP couldn't pronounce the names of his OWN players!!!

Puncheon & Hammond I would agree with. But on the other hand there are more players who have come on leaps and bounds... Barnard, Lallana, Lambert the most significant.

Its good to know that Pardew's assistant was just as tactically inept as himself. Yesterday was horrific, and quite how Dean Wilkins can even so much as think that it wasn't worries me. Yes I did, trying to encourage us that we don't need Pardew. It was aimed directly at all of those that sang "One Alan Pardew" on Tuesday. Your point being?
