  1. Hmmmm... Hand in transfer request as soon as the Transfer Window closes? Think not. They would have said he has some sort of serious injury and will be out for some time if they were trying to cover something, not say that he will be back for tuesday.
  2. Delighted! Absolutely DELIGHTED!!!
  3. yeeeeeeeeeeessssss ****ing get in there you ****jng cant!! Lee barnard barnard he's short and he's ****ing hard he's better than frank lampard lee barnard barnard!!!!
  4. No. Now Eff Off.
  5. Get Holmesy on!!!!! The difference he made last week was sheet hot. Get him on there with instruction to just run at Semmy. Guaranteed to either get past him, or get a penalty or free kick. Happy days. Now... COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!!
  6. Now if Punch still can't produce anything in this half, then he will officially be regarded as sh*t.
  7. This.
  8. Original Plan: Tonight - Pack for Hong Kong for 2 weeks of work out there. Sat - Fly out to Hong Kong and get promptly bevvied up on arrival. Sun - Take a look at job whilst sussing where the nearest boozers are. Mon - Start work on the boat and finish ASAP to get into the aforementioned nearest boozer. Hong Kong Cancelled, now travel to Batam Island (Indonesia) in 3 weeks time so... Revised Plan: Tonight - Play a bit of Snooker with the old man. Sat - Take my daughter to kids indoor play thingy and just get her out and about for the day. Sun - Take family over me old dear's, where my little girl will tire me out by making me bounce repeatedly on the trampoline. Mon - Back to work. What's actually going to happen: Tonight - Go play Snooker with the old man, sink a shot load of beer as I'm thoroughly peeved off after a barney with the missus. Sat - Fit new kitchen door as I put my fist through our current one after a barney with the missus. Sun - Go to old dears alone as my missus is a tw*t. Mon - Back to work. Can you see the pattern of it gradually going downhill?
  9. Last Season; Galpharm - Whole ground was noisy (apart from us at the away end), but the stand to the right of the away fans was very noisy indeed. County Ground - The stand at the other end of the ground from the away terrace... very small, crappy little stand, but they made good noise. Boundary Park - The fans next to us were very good throughout. Although they lost 1-3, they kept going. One of the more intimidating stands I have visited. Visited loads more last season but these are the ones that stand out to me. Alot were absolutely **** poor and not a patch on our atmosphere, but there were more that would be on par with what I think we sound like from the opposite end of the ground. Just look at the likes of The Den and Turf Moor... Grounds of clubs that many of our fans would say are smaller clubs than us, that have vastly smaller capacities, but there fans generate alot more noise. The Northam has had it's moments, but i think it will be much the same carp as it is now until we are back near the top of the Championship
  10. The rest of SMS slagging off Northam for their vocal support. F*cking hilarious!!! I have tried and tried and tried to keep OWTS slow, tried desperately to get different songs going (with nothing coming of it), tried singing songs to get behind the lads when we were 0-1 down to Rochdale, in desperate hope of giving them a lift (as you do) but again... nothing. All I got for my efforts were being accused of being on my high horse and thinking I was our version of the Tw*t with the Bell.I said that on saturday I would remain quiet until someone else decided to start a song, as I was apparently getting on so many people's backs and the only songs that were started from block 42 were "Southampton Boys are in Town" (Ummmmmmm... You reckon? This is an away chant, please dont sing this at a home game because that really is just plain dumb) and "Were are Southampton, The Pride of The South" and each came and went with little follow on. Although I may nark a few people off, I only try to get a bit of variety and sing songs that I think people will join in with, whilst also ensuring it is something that shows our support for the lads on the pitch, instead of trying to remind the away fans that we have a rivalry with Portsmouth. The Northam Stand has gone horribly downhill and I have heard much, much better support from much smaller grounds around the country, so those that think the northam creates a special atmosphere are seriously deluded.
  11. Or Legendary... Like Me.
  12. I'm off to work in hong kong for a few weeks saturday... reckon i'll be able to indulge in a bit of Aromatic Crispy Dog?
  13. The booing was coming from Block 41, and ceased about as quickly as it arrived due to the retards realising that there was only about 30 of them doing so. The booing for Lloyd James? I didn't hear it from block 42. I for one, applauded him. Thought he was utter tripe for us but glad for him that he has found his feet at a decent club. Northam is Carp now. The atmosphere is appaling. I'm on row JJ and I can honestly say that barely anyone below me gives vocal support unless we have just had a good effort on goal and they can pull themselves away from there crossword. That is unless, the teewats are singing "One Alan Pardew", in which case the whole stand ignites into a flurry of vocal activity.
  14. Good Old War's self titled new album. Very impressed...
  15. To me we didn't look like the team that we were last season before Mr Negative was releaved of his duties. I personally, think a number of things went wrong over the summer.
  16. He got Scunny playing fantastic football, but getting results whilst they are at it. If we can play anything like Scunny did down here a few years ago when they smashed us to pieces at SMS (despite us somehow coming away with a 1-0 win) then I will be a happy chappy. I cannot express enough how much I full blown f*cking hated AP's "Style" of hoof-it-and-hope and 4-5-1, until its the 80th/85th minute and you have been losing since the 30th minute so lets change it when it's all too late. Looking forward to Adkins reign. I have alot of faith in him. The changes he made today on 70 minutes made a significant difference, something we havn't seen for a while bar the usual "Chuck Waigo or Antonio on and tell em' to run at the left back and scare the living's out of him" which to be honest, i could tell them to do that.
  17. I moved on after having 2 days to reflect on the sacking. Realised that he in fact drove me nuts with 4-5-1, hoofball and 80th minute subs. So all in all, i'm bloody glad he has gone thanks. Like I said, just might be of interest to some.
  18. Just listened to Deano's interview on Saints Player, thought a few might be interested in his words. To me it's the biggest hint yet that there were problems in the camp. "The new Manager has come in and he's been great, he's put a smile back on everyone's faces. Anything that has happened in the past, deal with it, move on, we want a succesful season." Obviously the "Anything in the past" could be Pardew's sacking itself, but from the way it was said, i think there was more to it than that. Like I said, thought a few might be interested.
  19. And he hasn't caught the name of the Left Back/Left Winger we signed from Brentford either by the looks of it...
  20. Can't remember what game it was last season (was away from home) but Holmesy got a start, was bloody brilliant, barely put a foot wrong and caused the oppo's RB havoc. Next game, dropped, never to be seen again under AP. I have never, and will never understand why. He really is a quality player.
