  1. £1,000 compensation. Is that the going rate for being scarred for life? I'd tell em' to f*****g keep it.
  2. Me Mum has told me many a story outta that place. I dread to think what sort of stories she has kept from me that were assosiated with the Shield & Dagger.
  3. An old schoolmate of mine, passed away at 17, was his grandson. Never got to go round myself but always envied him for having a f**k off catermaran to play around in when he vistied his grandparents! My old dear lives just up the road from him. He is off his box that's for sure! haha! Every time they have tried to get it moved it has been the power lines that has proved the problem iirc. But he won't demolish it for no c**t.
  4. what size armoured?
  5. http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums/index.php I have been interested in this sort of thing for a while, having worked in or around some sites such as these, but havn't explored quite like these folks do. I have worked in some proper creepy abandoned places but some of the stuff these guys check out is pretty interesting. I am working at a school at the moment in Wilton nr. Salisbury that was vacant for 6 years and although that may not sound like long, I can assure you it was spooky walking through a school that hasn't been set foot in for that long. Anything of any value had long since gone, but all note pads and alot of little text books and stationary, blackboards with the final lessons writing still in place, the Design Tech block with saw dust resting where it fell on the bench... all laid in it's place it was left on the last day of it's final term, exept now it has mould and 6 years worth of decay mixed in with it. Has anyone on here ever done anything quite like what the guys on this forum do? I have heard of a few sites like these that are not too far from Southampton but havn't as yet ever had the opportunity to check them out, nor the balls to really try. The Hospital/Asylum section on 28dayslater is well worth a butchers if your interested.
  6. Not every day you get favours in FM. I have just increased my unbeaten run to 21 games with a 1-6 win away to 4th placed Huddersfield who were on a 5 match winning streak. I am on absolute fire! Scored 73 with only 19 conceded in 24 games, 9 points clear at the top although P'Boro have a game in hand on me. Fabian Brandy has scored 17 in 21 games. All this with Lallana out for the first 3 months of the season.
  7. There's a great site for help with things like that. www.sharpestblades.com
  8. Great input hypo, as always.
  9. Quite right. I think alot of our fans have failed to realise that it was Cortese who introduced Liebherr to us.
  10. To the tune of The Beatles - 'Let it Be' "When I found myself in a time of trouble, Cortese came to me, Speaking Words of Wisdom, Corteseee. In my hour of Darkness he was standing right in front of me, Speaking Words of Wisdom, Corteseee, Cortese. Corteseee, Cortese, Corteseee, Cortese... Whispering words of Wisdom, Corteseee." Go ahead and Pisa and Moan that it's too hard to learn. Perfect for us IMO.
  11. There is a reason united have so many great chants. They a) agree on a tune and then b) work together to instill lyrics that are not only cracking but easy enough to get going. We on the other hand, lambast a fans efforts of a suggestion and ridicule him/her, instead of suggesting ways it could be improved. When Markus passed away, I tried to get this going; "Our Markus Liebherr, Our Markus Liebherr, You made us happy, when skies were grey, No longer here but, his Spirit stays with us, Why did you take, Our Markus, Away...?" (Repeat twice as loud and continue) Admittedly, it's not the best, but it certainly ain't terrible. I started it very slowly and clearly with a few others around us in Block 42, it isn't rocket science and we show no honour to the man who not only saved us but gave us the bright future we have. Needless to say, nobody else joined in.
  12. A spark on this site has the most incredibly annoying laugh. One of our blokes thinks he has testicular cancer, he laughed and said "John Bollockov!!!". Gives you an idea at how much he laughs at. TeeWAT.
  13. This. He always claimed to be the voice of the fans, yet had a constant stream of cr*p dripping off the end of his chin.
  14. To the tune of Lupe Fiasco's 'Superstar' - "If you are what you say you are, A Superstar, Then have no fear... Rickie Lambert's Here and the lights are on And we wanna a Goal Goal Goal Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
  15. Like they did when the news first broke? Thought not.
  16. This really does have goals written all over it. So yeh, my £20 is on 0-0.
  17. Get the mother f*ck in there!!!! Just dropped coffee all over my new cream carpet. Oh well. HAHAHAHA!!! NA's RED & WHITE AAAAAARMY!!!
  18. Barnard misses open goal from inside 6 yard bax. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFS!!!
  19. Halo, you have summed everything up in that post. It is very much a trust issue, but in time they will come around. The future is looking fantastic for us and if it is all done in "the right way" that Cortese & Markus said they wanted it done in, then I wouldn't swap places with anyone.
  20. No he most certainly did NOT! He is abysmal and the reason he has been nowhere near a league appearance is because he is a joke. His nickname of Tommy Fourpast. You are talking absolute sh*t in your reference to Flowers.
  21. You will think he is amazing for 2 months. Then he will settle and you will wonder where Jason Puncheon has gone. Also... that down to earth, hard working bunch of lads you have at Blackpool would have just welcomed an egotistical Big I Am.
