I done some work in the Southampton Archeological department down in the walls that face Town Quay. An old boy down there used to walk me round the walls, through all the area's not open to the public etc. I was sat in one of the rooms at the back of Gods House (? i think its called) and he popped his head round the corner... "I guess I havn't shown you round here yet?" turned out I was sat in the french prison and he took me up to the archives to show me what sort of ummmm... objects we once used in the area. It was effectively a torture chamber. Never set foot in that room again. I really want to go back now i'm beginning to get into my photography. There is this beautiful sweeping staircase, probably about 70/80 steps that go round in like a 1/3 of a circle, all there is at the top, is a ledge built into the walls, with a 6" diameter hole in it - The Bog.
