I can't believe people thought we were safe. You only had to look at our run in to see that we had a whole load of games that we'd f*ck up. We always struggle against the teams around us. I lashed £80 on us to go down at 100-1. I'm absolutely convinced that we're down. Wigan will win their remaining fixtures, they always turn it on for the last 4 or 5 games and escape at the death. We'll lose at Sunderland and lose or draw against Stoke.

I put money on us to go down when we were 100-1 and 80-1. Looking forward to a bumper pay day to soften the blow.

I heard NC never liked black in the home kit and opted for Red & White (The colours of the Swiss flag) as a mark of respect for ML. The article also said he was going to replace black with green so that out kit is red, white and green, the colours of the Italian flag. I think the last bit was a joke, well, I hope it was. :-/

The man is a ****. Completely out of touch with the modern game. The BBC need a radical rethink with their pundits.

Saints won't pick up a single point between now and the end of the season. The only way they'll stay up is by other teams slipping up.

Me too. I'm convinced Wigan will win 3 or their last 4 like they always do. I don't see Saints getting another point this season. Saints to slip down on the last day with 39pts and I'll have a grand to soften the blow.

Yep. I've been saying we'd go down ever since MP arrived. I don't think we'll pick up any more points this season.

I've just used the predictor on the BBC site and the final standings have us going down. A quick check for some odds and I got 80-1. I reckon that's worth a few quid on the basis that it'll help soften the blow should it happen. :-/

And right on cue Saints equalise. Every time I make a negative comment on here they score. Right, Saints are ****, the manager is a ***** and the Chairman is a clueless ******. Are Saints winning 2-1 yet? :-)

I got slated at the start of the season for saying that I didn't think we had enough quality up front but it looks like I was right. I'm really looking forward to hearing the opinions of those clowns who were hailing MP as a tactical genius after the Utd game. If it stays like this he'll have delivered a 0-0 and 2 defeats. Brilliant.

Not got enough quality up front. Too many missed chances. If we're going to stay up we need SRL to be burying everything and the likes of Ramirez, Lallana & Punch all starting to bag goals on a regular basis.

Wake up! Fergie is the master of mind games. If Saints had got a draw or a win he wouldn't have said that. He'd be looking for excuses or blaming the ref. he always compliments the sides that they beat. It's a sideways swipe at clubs like Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal. Anybody who believes he said that as a genuine compliment to Saints is sadly mistaken.

Oh please! A 0-0 draw and a 2-1 defeat hardly makes him a tactical genius. You fool.

Why don't they just **** the SFA off and apply to join the English league?

You have to understand that tradition means a lot to many supporters. Just because you're not bothered what colour Saints play in doesn't mean that others share the same view. It's your club colours that mark your identity. Over 50% of fans don't like the new kit. That's a big number! You're making it sound like anybody who has complained about the new kit is acting like a big baby. That's not the case. People are just voicing their opinion. My personal view is that it's just a marketing scam. Another signal that the people in charge don't really give a toss what the fans think. If people don't like it they should show the club by refusing to buy it. Financial impact seems to be the only way to make people sit up and listen these days.

The premier league is nothing to be proud of. It's a money making exercise that's completely lost it's way and turned football into some horrible corporate sport where greedy players with huge egos & no loyalty demand unrealistic wages. The average man in the street can no longer afford to take his family to games because ticket prices have been forced up to pay for pretty boy players to underperform week after week. The new kit is yet another example of money being more important than tradition.

The more I look at this the more I despise it. It's not a Saints kit! Red shorts ffs. Whoever approved this pile of 80's retro ****e should be hung.

Firstly they give us a copy of a 80's Forest or Liverpool shirt. Then they take the black shorts away! This is almost as bad as Cardiff ditching their traditional blue and going for a Red home kit.

These are just copies of Forest & Liverpool shirts fom the 1980's. They're both ****e! I've purchased every kit since 1980. I won't be buying these!!!

Naismith and Jelavic worked really well together at Rangers and a number of Rangers fans I've spoken to seem to think that Everton would be stupid not to take him.
