Who knows? However, a very good opportunity was wasted due to poor management.

Looking for a current away shirt. Would prefer a XL but would be happy with a L or 2XL as it's really just for my collection. The club now only have S or 3XL and apparently won't be getting any more stock. :-/

Wanted - Current Black Away shirt - Size XL
Cestrian Saint replied to JamesSaints97's topic in Buy / Sell
I'm also after the current away shirt in a XL. I spoke to the club yesterday and they informed me that they only have S & 3XL. They said there won't be any more stock now as there will be a new shirt next season. -
Fulham, Cardiff & WBA. All because they've ****ed around with their managers and are no better off for doing so.

43. We're done this season.
-
Adam Lallana says that WHU's clinical finishing was what made the difference. No **** Sherlock! If you were impressed by that **** then just wait until next Saturday when we play Liverpool.
-
Exactly. A season that promised so much has turned into a bit of a damp Squibb.
-
Can't see anybody coming in which is a shame as we desperately need a defender and a striker if we're to compete for a top 10 finish this season. Anybody else think that MP may use Wanyama as a CB at some point with MS & JC continuing in midfield? I'd have thought he'd be a better option than Jos or Yoshida.

Palace expected to sign, Ince, Dann and Ledley today. Pulis has really turned things around there. Dann and Ince would've been ideal for us.
-
The players who've left are irrelevant with the exception of Puncheon. At least he gave us something different and with Ramirez out Punch would've been handy to have around. We are a weaker squad but through injuries rather than the sale of players. We desperately need a striker & a defender. Fox is no real loss but I do wonder what we'll do if Shaw picks up an injury. If we don't add a bit of depth I don't see us finishing in the top half of the table.

There's a live press conference at 3pm on Sky. A couple of papers are saying that MP will announce his resignation. Guess we'll have to wait & see.

You sign Whittingham, we sign Pochettino....
Cestrian Saint replied to Saint Mikey's topic in The Saints
If we have to sing anti-Pompey songs then how about this? The grans old duke of Skates He had 11 men He marched them up to the Premier league And he marched them down again Cos when they were up they were **** And when they were down they were **** No matter whether they're up or down Pompey will always be ****. Opening line could be changed to something like 'That ***** called Mandaric' or 'Alexandre Gaydamak' -

The lyrics that we're being sung on Saturday were, 'That's what it's like being Pompey, That's what it's like being poor'. Not, 'This is what it's like being Pompey, this is what it's like being poor'. I've never heard this being sung/ It makes no sense. -
Not worth anywhere near the £12m that we paid for him, but then who is??? I'd still rather see Cork & Morgan reunited. They were superb last season and I don't understand why a solid partnership was broken up to include Wanyama.

I have a new found hate of Liverpool. The fans are delusional and none of them seem to be from Liverpool. They're all Irish or Scandinavian. I was on a flight from Liverpool to Dublin on Saturday and it was full of the ****ing idiots, all spouting on about how it's their right to win the Premiership. The final straw was as we were waiting to get off the plane and they started pushing and shoving each other. Nobody was hurt but of all the fans in the world you'd think they'd know better. Absolute ****s.

Sky reporting that he's not been in talks this week. The last time was over two weeks ago when the clubs agreed a fee but he couldn't agree terms. His agent is saying that it must have taken two weeks for the story to come out. I hope this is the end of it. I smell trouble with him. Too many demands and too much agent talk are never a good sign.

Yes, I'm fine now. I've taken a deep breath and counted to 10, a task in itself which causes me great stress. I'm just fed up with reading a forum full of ****ty pointless rumours and statistics. It dives me ****ing mad. Oh god, it's happening again. Look what you've done. Somebody pass me the Tamazepam.
-
I took constant abuse for saying that I thought his season would be a poor reflection on the stupid amount we paid yet my prediction was pretty much spot on. Never should've given £12m for him. We need to try and get as much of that back as soon as possible. If he stays another season we'll see a fraction of what we paid.
-
FFS. What a complete waste of ****ing time. It's like saying, If Saints had scored more goals against the opposition in every game they'd played they'd be League Champions, FA and League cup winners. It didn't happen so why produce a bunch of statistics that mean absolutely nothing???
-
He'd be daft to go at this point in his career. We all know what his options are. Stay at Saints and play regular 1st team football or play 4 or 5 League Cup matches and warm the bench (if he's lucky) at Chelsea.
-
Not a Cortese fan but this is good news. At least it brings some stability and it's been resolved quickly, which must be a first for Saints as they usually let things drag on all summer.
-
Yep, I saw the one sent to Naim Audio in Salisbury.
-
I'm not a Cortese fan. I think the man has his own agenda and is using us to massage his own ego. However, I don't want him to leave as it'll only bring more instability at a time when we really need things to be as stable as possible.
-
Why? The FA Cup has nothing to do with the league. I'd rather see the winners earn a place in the Champions league because they are 'Champions'. Having a Champions competition that allows the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best teams in the league to compete is laughable.
-
The battle for 4th place is very significant in all of this. If Spurs don't pick up points at Chelsea tomorrow or against Stoke on Sunday then Arsenal are guaranteed 4th which means they can play the reserves against Wigan - A game I can see Wigan winning. We need Spurs to stay in the chase so that Arsenal go into their game against Wigan needing 3 points to secure 4th place.
