The club will listen to offers for any of our players. The fact that they said they'd received no offers for any players and then sold RL 24 hours later proves this and also shows that they're liars. There's been offers on the table for Shaw and Lallana for some time so for Kruger to publicly announce that there's been no offers is just bull****. Everyone is for sale at the right price, unfortunately, the sale of Lambert for £4m suggests that our board haven't grasped that yet.

Liverpool are widely expected to sign him tomorrow. Current market value is £50m. Saints are expected to accept an offer in the region of £1.5m.

Jamie White - ex Saints Academy- Now Salisbury

That little **** scored a very late equalizer for Salisbury against Chester on the last day of the season. It was a nothing game for Salisbury but Chester needed to win to guarantee Conference safety. His late goal sent Chester down. :-( -
Probably be mentioned before but this piece is well written and makes a lot more sense than some of the nonsense in the press. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/southampton/10860028/David-Moyes-should-really-be-the-only-candidate-to-replace-Mauricio-Pochettino-as-Southampton-manager.html

Is he? He was playing in a **** team so a bit harsh to say he's past best. How many times have we seen players who've kickstarted their careers after a move?
-
Given that both shirts were stock Adidas kits (Campeon & Tiro) I very much doubt that there was anything in the contract about minimum sales numbers. Besides, we sold more shirt than Swansea so if it was a numbers game surely they'd have fallen out with them before they fell out with us?

Talking of players available on a free, I don't know why we don't try and snap up Hangelaand whilst he's available.

Does anyone still believe we will be competitive?
Cestrian Saint replied to Frank's cousin's topic in The Saints
Absolutely not. Neither do the bookies. Our odds for relegation have been slashed from 150-1 to 8-1. -
Has anybody considered that KL may already have a buyer for the club? A man who was rumoured to be going away to try and secure the funds to come back and buy the club? I think you all know who I'm referring to? Nicola Cortese. What if he's been unable to secure the funding to the level she wanted so she's stripping what she can out of the business and will then sell for a lower figure that is achievable for NC. Just thought I'd throw that into the mix. It's a good one for the conspiracy theorists.

After all the club's been through you'd have thought that some lessons had been learned. Obviously not!!!
-
Used to be. Decided not to renew this year. Sorry.
-
The board are a bunch of lying ****s. I know for a fact that they've agreed a fee with 2 British clubs for LS. To hear RK say that they've not received any offers for any of our players is nothing more than a blatant lie!
-
Stupid, greedy ****. Nothing like trying to run before you can walk. One good season and they think he's the answer to all their problems. 10 managers in 13 years tells a story.
-
Glad it amused you. You're clearly one of those people who knows more than everybody else but refuses to accept that there may actually be others who use this forum who have contacts at the club.

FWIW I am quite ITK but I gave up sharing things on here because there's always somebody who thinks they know better. This whole situation reminds me of when Strachan delivered our best Prem league finish and got us to the FA Cup final and then RL refused to spend to take us to the next level. Strachan got his coat and the rest is history. It's taken a decade to get back to that position so what do we do? Let the manager go to a direct competitor.

I actually agree with the original post. MP is a complete fool if he goes to Spurs and our board have shown nothing but a complete lack of ambition by not securing his services. Watch the floodgates open with regard to players leaving. We should be looking to build on last season, not sell off all our assets. What next, Neil Lennon? Face facts, our board are both clueless and spineless.

Just had a call to say the deal for him to go to Utd is done. A little surprised as it was widely expected that he'd go to Chelsea to replace Cole. Apparently he was more impressed with the set up at Utd.

Just seen the away version of this kit. That'd get my vote. I'll link a pic later.

It's been proven that teams who wear all red strips are more successful. See my earlier post for a link to the report. If a all red strip is going to give us 3-5 points a season then It's well worth it.
-
As I said last week, he's going to Chelski.
-
What about Macron? They seem to be making a lot more kits for UK teams these days.
-
Our track record with expensive purchases isn't great. We'll waste the money that comes in and end up in a relegation battle.
-
He'll end up at Chelsea.

He's going to Chelsea.
