This is chappers all over again, player has about 4 big performances and then suddenly a hero. He's not that good, lots of people want him to be for one reason or another but in reality he isn't and will go to a team where they need a poacher like him for the way they play, unlike us. Forren clearly was a panicky joke, leak goals clearly leads to buying more cb's then finding he's not fit and his reputation is over blown clearly leaves us looking silly.

Nice guy, good professional, average champ player at best. Good buy at the time but his form was always a bit 50/50, loved that game changing moment against United in the cup, but at the same time he had quite a few bad moments (sending off and general anonymity). Either way like all our players from the lower leaves best of luck to him, especially as he has taken the gracious route to playing more football with a contract termination.

I know all of this really I just like the idea of getting a good deal for a player, I am hopeful the £12.5m on him will pay off, it's just a big transfer fee, not something we're really used to...

2 seasons in the SPL one of which he performed amazingly in the champions league = a bit of a gamble? I do agree it's a steep price to pay, but I doubt he'll be a flop considering the position he plays at the strong positive attributes he displays in his general game.
