We were lucky at 1-1 for them not to get the penalty tbh, looked stone wall to me. We also got lucky in the home games. But that's football and 6 points.

I was in the West Stand today and have to say that the noise didn't travel very well from the away section or Bournemouth's end. Poor acoustics at that ground.

Deary me.. Wednesday are a far bigger club than us.

They are gave us more % wise than we gave them, how can anyone moan about that? It's as if Saints fans are saying we are more worthy to see the match than Bournemouth fans, and some on here wonder why they call us a load of arrogant fools.

I don't read this forum much and barely post, but I'm pretty certain just after Bournemouth at home your DP was a photo of you with the 10/11 home shirt on posing outside the Northam, bit ironic? You come across as an attention seeking moron; by the sounds of it you don't go for the football, you just go to find faults in other peoples enjoyment. Sad individual.

That would be slightly comical, if Bournemouth was not a nice area and wasn't better than Southampton. But it is better and is a nicer area. As for the game, dominated the midfield and did them over. Didn't look too threatening going forward though. Bournemouth fans in good voice throughout the match.

If anything, they give us Saints far too much coverage. Considering we are below the Cherries by some way, they should be above us in the pecking order in Solent, and only this weekend did they make an attempt to cover AFCB more, after their fans pointed out they were way above SFC.

Eddie Howe is the best young manager in the lower leagues, would have been a fantastic appointment. To be fair, Bournemouth are currently better than us and doing really well. Their fans are all behind the players, manager and board. Whereas SFC are in chaos. Fair play to him.

OWTS was good for 15 mins, only time we were heard over the b'muff fans tbh. As said without Itchen North it aint the same.

Agree on all counts, Barnard is a clever player and brings more to the team than people realise. Wotton is useless. Bournemouth fans were superb tbh until we scored. For such a meaningless game (ok it meant more for them) they were singing their hearts out and we were just moaning.

I thought the Bournemouth fans were fairly impressive, 4,000+ for a carling cup round 1 game is excellent no matter who you're playing. They were fairly loud too until Lallana curled that beauty in. Good turn out of 13k Saints too.

Can't wait tbh. **** the fans who choose not to go, if they can't afford fair enough, but some simply CBA. It is a local game and I don't want Dorset to have the bragging rights. Hopefully the true Saints fans turn up.

I'd hope there is at least 11,000 Saints fans. If only to outshout the Bournemouth fans. I'd hate to be outsung at SMS by a local club.
