Agreed, I miss the air of 'What he going to do now' that the player like Papa and in the past Fabrice brought into our game play, its a missing element in our game plan I fear :-(. As for the Team fitness, beyond me how 'Professionals' can turn up for the season out of shape, or the club allows them to do so. Colchester didn't have our skill set, but they ran rings around us and could react to the ball before our players took 2 paces, NOT GOOD ENOUGH! If Gully highlights the teams inadequate state of fitness the it might do us a bit of good. COYR

We do 'Statues' very well at St Marys. I've seen too many balls being dinked into spaces where fitter and more imaginative forward players would be expected to be found waiting for the clever ball.The worst of it is that the provider will the be derided by the fans for a wasted ball, maybe he should have passed the ball in the opposite direction, our half of the pitch, where RL seems to spend much of his ame these days! We desperately need more imagination, flair, and forward thinking if we are ever going to have aspirations of playing in the higher leagues. I would love to see a more 'Goal Hanging' from our forward team, we have a pretty good defence, we should be worrying the opositions goalmouth more, IMVHO COYR
