Nope again, will be cheering them on and hope that we win - I never even moan when a team is selected, unless we went totally left field and stuck Kelvin or someone in goal for a laugh(actually based on frasers form that's not a terrible idea). But i'm not going to bury my head in the sand and say nothing if we are playing a dross style of football otherwise nothing will change. I'd rather us lose but look like we really wanted the game, 1 shot on target against Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool is terrible football to play regardless of the opposition.

Forster is a bang average goalkeeper, wish McCarthy was fit to replace him currently. He should have come of his line to challenge for some of the Spurs goals last night and when he does make a save he does look pretty unconventional with his technique. I question some of the coaching we do at saints though. Stekelenburg went from a World Cup finalist 'keeper, to invisible between the sticks on his loan to us, then back to being very solid for Everton after he left us. Gazzaniga was a good prospect, then looked shaky as sin when playing for us... wonder how he's doing at Real Vallecano this year.

God this game is going to be dreadful to watch if you're a neutral. Or a Saints fan. Or a West Brom fan.

I'll see after West Brom result but for all those saying "FFS we're in 8th"... there's only 3 points between us and 13th, so all could change by the weekend as it's very tight in those spots but yet the gap between where we are now and 6th increases by a bigger and bigger margin with each round of fixtures.

It's the europa league performances that did it for me. Why bother qualifying when we chuck the games. Would have been nice to try in one of those games... oh well we have a LC semi final to look forward to against Liverpool. Sure we will really give that a go...

Why do we bother playing these cup games? Redmond is so shït it hurts how often he loses the ball. Ultimately this is down to Puel though, so poor from the club this is an embarrassment and the final straw for me and this manager. I cannot accept us having so many gutless performances like this in VERY winnable games.

Palace are notoriously bad at defending set pieces this season so makes sense for JWP to play and someone like Austin or even VVD to head them in.
