Get better soon nipper.

To be fair I hadn't read the thread no! However I'd only stipulate that he'd be good for us if we were in Europe, due to increased number of games I think we'd need the bodies in the squad. Think he still does have something to offer, im sure Poch could coach it out of him! However i'll be in the "no" camp in the likely event we're not in europe next year!

Phile Neville is out of contract at Everton at the end of the year, not renweing but still wants to play at the top level. HCDAFU next year? Good experience, squad player particularly in the possible event we get in to Europe via fairplay league we would need a bigger squad, and while it's debatable he'd be loads better than what we have if we were ever in Europe, you need a large squad for rotation and I think he'd be perfect in that scenario, been there and done it all, probably at his age not happy to play every game (managed 25 this year) good role model for the youth and for the job he does in CM still good prem quality. Thoughts?

This wigan/qpr game is f"cking woeful. None of the players would make our team currently apart from townsend from spurs.

Nicola Cortese - Is he worth £1.576m per annum?
lloydie replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Most games actually. "Cortese, woooahhhh, cortese, wooahhh. He comes from italy, he faackin hates pompey!" That song. -
Did I miss the point you started taking happy pills mate?! FWIW i agree with you on the top 7 thing, but just surprised how positive you are now!

He might have a tapeworm, heroin addiction or aids? Some possible explanations for his weightloss now, can't be sure to be honest.

Sh*t thread.

I could be interested! Position, left mid/up top. Anywhere apart from goal really! Shirt number: not that bothered. Playing ability: played at a half decent standard a few years ago. Mostly been limited to 5 a side past 3 years since being at uni. Fitness: fairly decent, i rest my laurels on the fact im only 24 so can get away with a lot more fitness wise! Likely hood of turning up: i'll more than likely need a lift

Its a bit of a joke that they are only stumping up £15m in renovation costs when the tax payer is putting in £60m. Especially as Spurs said they would help finance such a move. Even more outrageous they wont pay when you consider how much they will net from the sale of upton park, and get to keep all ticket and merchandise sales! Not to mention i think they get a slice of stadium sponsorship money too. For £2m per year rent! I wonder what our costs of running St. Mary's are per year?!

I know and after the position we're in currently too.

Stat and a half!

Ha! I wish, not like you to be optimistic is it?! I'd love us to finish 10th, however we do have to acknowledge that quite a number of the teams between us and 10th (IE:all of them) have a game or two in hand so that'll spread the distance out a tad more than it looks, currently. Although it looks good, currently! PS: have you developed a fetish for posting league tables today?!

Jay Rod's looking really lively this game, can see him nicking a goal he's been unlucky so far.
-
shocker that coutinhio pops up, the li'l ripper. FFS. Come on saints, regroup at HT and come back out a bit more solid at the back and keep it to 3 attempts on goal for the rest of the match by liverpool.

Have to say i laughed at the station announcer just saying "sorry". P.S: Im sorry for my post being on here. I hope it didn't get in anyones way.

Comfort Blankets of possession, fixtures and other teams games
lloydie replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
Loads of promoted teams have been in this scrap before. Noteably from this season Reading who won the league and finished above us last year are now below us. Second point, we are not in the relegation spots currently, so our current situation is just dandy. I will be chuffed if we finish here. End of. -
I think one thing many people are jumping to conclusions about so far, but not neccessarily limited to, are: *red and white stripes making a comeback. *no ted bates statue. *that anyone really knows the capacity yet.(id imagin... a possible premature conclusion of my own) This seems purely to be a mock up of 'wants' that the club want to have for a purely architectural viewpoint. Anyone looking into stuff like the statue or kit from this and drawing conclusions are probably asking a bit much.

I did not notice your later observation so i duely retract my previous post kind sir

If you can't notice the increase in detail on pic 4 from pic 2 you need to visit an optician.

convinced we would have lost 2-0 if it wasn't for him today! (3-0 if it wasn't for boruc!)
-
Posted mere minutes after a game we got a point from where we were expected to lose? Says a lot.

If you do find them, someone at HMRC would also like a peek.

Ahh yes those family clubs of Volkswagen Wolfsburg and BAYER Leverkeusen. Also, i know this is from the daily fail but seems well researched http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2143867/German-football-efficiency-The-Bundesliga-Martin-Samuel.html
