  1. oh they sure would be inspired. Or incited... Can't remember which.
  2. My God i've always wondered if he posts on here! If you're reading this, own up!
  3. Our objectives have changed, Our objectives have changed, Brendan Rogers, our objectives have changed Our objectives have changed, Our objectives have changed, Champions League, our objectives have changed (Then a chorus of we hate pompey, we hate pompey x10 just because.)
  4. Mental that Brum turned down a £6m bid for him in January, that may well have saved them. (Also mental that Bournemouth are chucking about £6m for players!)
  5. I was quoting the chelsea fans on that thread mate.
  6. http://www.theshedend.com/topic/27502-chelsea-fans-prevent-black-man-boarding-paris-metro-train/ most of the chelsea fans are speaking out against it and rightly so, although there are defiantely some morons on there claiming "it's a set up" etc. "Don't think they blocked the man from getting on because he was black, the train looked rammed so there was probably just no space. With regards to the chanting, maybe this was just a tongue in cheek response to them being accused of racism because of this." Oh really? Just a bit of light hearted bantz?
  7. Saw that this morning too, pretty ridiculous in this day and age. It's the sort of thing we usually seem to use to beat other european club team's fans round the head with to imply we are superior just seems we're the same after all.
  8. Why did we not buy a striker?!
  9. In fairness with being a winger, he's not going to be as well drilled in playing the offside trap. So long as he does his jobs well I wont berate him too much for that.
  10. Funny you mention that my mate did some of their electrics a few years back and got more or less free roam of the place, even got to take me and another mate round and its a pretty impressive building on the inside!

    Mane!

    What was the chant?
  12. That's one nailed on nibble for turks
  13. It's disappointing we've bid this low, but we have played this sort of game before with other players in the past such as Wanyama for example so i'm not surprised.
  14. That was terrible keeping from forster.
  15. To be fair to JWP, he still has time on his side to bulk up a bit. That will hopefully come and he may start to come into games more. (Saying that his overall game in terms of assists have improved)
  16. I feel we are in an almost compareable position to the year we came up from the championship, and we were looking ok as a team but knew we needed the added fire power, even if its only for 6 months just to cement our position and cross the line. We signed billy sharp, his goals helped us keep momentum to finish 2nd. I feel this is a similar time to get someone to do a job. Lambert would do that. So would ings, or austin or any bloody striker at this rate! We do need more goals though. Maybe we re-sign billy sharp if nothing else comes off?
  17. FFS really? I had a whole list of questions for that guy too.
  18. West Ham though despite recent history still have got a fairly large fan-base nationally(everyone has at least 3-4 hammers mates from round their way)/world wide when compared to us so that doesn't surprise me too much. Villa, I have no clue how they manage revenue must be through better sponsorship deals, i imagine our Veho deal isn't particularly lucrative.
  19. I thought after charlie hebdo we were fighting for papers and magazines to put whatever images they want in them? Or are we doing the other thing now it's so hard to keep up!? (unless you're looking at boobs on page 3 in which case its quite easy to keep it up)
  20. ^mansfield, apparently!
  21. Her and Karen Brady of West Ham too I think currently. Also im pretty sure that the owner of morecombe (i think) made his fits mrs chairwoman.
  22. I remember last year and the start of this year (prior to his injury) thinking to myself that I knew JWP was good, but I didn't really know what contribution other than good dead balls he gave the team. He was lightweight, didnt create many chances compared to others and generally went missing in games. Since he got injured you can tell he spent the time in the gym bulking up a bit as he now has started to put his mark on the side in one of the 3 attacking midfield options: he's stronger on and off the ball, closes things down in the final third well and now has quite a few assists to his name, the pass to mane at palace being one sublime example! So kudos JWP and Koeman, definately doing something right!
  23. Lambert.
  24. I have a feeling that next pre-season the staff will probably work with him on scoring more/taking more shots. A bit like after our first season up lallana suddenly got quicker and better at shooting somehow after preseason.
  25. So is there space for Reed or not i'm confused mate?!
