Well Anthony Taylor, I think an explanation is required why this penalty wasn't given. We'll make it easy with multiple choice. 1. I didn't see it. (not really likely as it could not be more obvious) 2. I am incompetent. (he has previous) 3. I am a venal little shit who is corrupt (but adored by H. Webb). 2nd worst referee performance I have seen in 60 years of watching Saints. Only John Gow in the late 60's and early 70's was worse and that is a very low bar. Anthony Taylor goes down in infamy along with John Gow.

The lack of professionalism in that audio is unacceptable. Talking to each other as if they were in the pub, “mate”. No focus on what was being arbitrated. No clarity or authority in communication. Lax attention to detail. Contrast with Rugby and Cricket where the VAR/TMO are clear about the incident that requires clarification and it ends with a totally clear decision on the outcome that includes confirmation of the incident referred. Howard Webb needs to grip this and tear up the assumption that the on field referee is somehow to be supported. If video proves the referee wrong or right so be it. Just accept that a properly managed referral ceases to be about the referee, it is about the truth.

I know them both and both are men of rare integrity who would never put their interests first. They have knowledge and opinions, as do we all.

Loving the comments of Manure chromosome free deadheads on youtube. Seems that their investment in referee corruption didn't pay off. From Fergie Time to all their other entitlements, Anthony Taylor failed. ALL the decisions went against them! One of the intellectually challenged insists that it was not a red card but that VAR proved it was. How can you argue against that logic? Entitled twats.

If I recall properly, KWP had one of those games last year when he had the freedom to roam midfield and after the match he suggested he could play No 10 if required. It was when Tino was occupying the RB slot. I really think KWP has the ability to play midfield and would see him as a great counter attacking option. Put him in for Eli and we lose none of Eli’s defensive benefits.

Ah Duncan, therein lies the end of the world.

Let us just accept that VAR is not for the likes of us. If we get decisions it will disrupt the Premier League ‘Project’. I can accept that a ref on field may not see everything but the sh*tshower at Crossley Park have no excuse. They are paid by the PL, PL wants sales to the Asian markets where the command of English is limited to ‘ManU’, ergo Crossley Park is bent.

Seeing JWP’s performance on Wednesday it seemed to be like the great Alan Ball at his best. Always moving the ball, available to receive it, passing intuitively and leading by example to make those around him look good. If the knobhead Southgate was offered Alan Ball he probably wouldn’t fit his brick shithouse requirements. Nor will JWP unfortunately

Friend is a cheat. I wish we could stop singing ‘you don’t know what you’re doing’ and got straight to the point with ‘you’re just a fekin cheat’ to whatever tune fits.

Harry Reed; Morgan's Heir Apparent.

Looked to me that when Cork came on, Koeman had Harry man mark Sissoko. Kept seeing Sissoko in right back position to try and get the ball and Harry telling him to stay there as once in our half he would be dominated by a 19 year old genius. Respect to Koeman tactically and to Harry for being able to stop Sissoko playing. -
Meaningless statistic. Here's another one analysing the decibels per fan in the stadium. Mancs (including the Crystal Palace massif) bottom now. Agreed, Have not seen a player with his ability. Nearest is that Aguero blokey at Citey - just double him to get Keegan.

Sharon Davies. Cannot concentrate when she is doing the post swim interviews in Glasgow at the moment.

I take my 4 year old grandson and its his second season with a season ticket in the family area. No problems provided they are well provided for with snacks and drinks and don't mind being thrown in the air when we score. Knows all the players by sight and can tell me all about tactics and stupid referees. Only problem is he thinks that supporting Saints is always like this current team. He hasn't done the bad days.

Excellent OP that only a lunatic would contest. Form a queue here then .........

I really don't care. Its about the team, not what they dress in.

Over the years I tired of telling them I was from Southampton and having to explain basic geography. It was just much easier to say I came from London but that invited the inevitable "hey. do you know the Queen". Face palm thingy

Was 21. Spent the last 7 mins sat down on the terrace high up behind the goal just crying with more happiness than I could ever then have imagined, knowing we were going to win. Total emotion created by the moment and being pi**ed since 9.30. Went on a coach from Totton which visited and was thrown out of at least 3 pubs en route, on board toilet facilities consisted of a plastic meat tray sent from the back along the aisle for contributions before contents being tipped over a Man U car somewhere on the North Circular. It was the 70's though.

Am I the only one who sees an open mouth, two dangly things at the back of the throat and two lower front teeth? Back with the Nutjobs on PTS then.

Agreed. It ain't nice but it has happened and the only thing to do is to go forward with what we have. Its football these days. *****ing about it solves nothing. All the best to NA.
