This will have a huge effect on Tottenham. Remember Huddersfield after we pipped them to 2nd spot in League 1? They were points ahead of the other teams in the playoff spots but ended up losing to Peterborough.
My possibly dodgy mathematics suggests the odds were 10,178/1 (rounding up the decimal points) using the permutations involving Oxford, Plymouth and B Rovers. If you use the odds of Accrington losing both matches then it would have been even higher.
Also means that Leicester and Everton are still the the only teams we haven't beaten this season (apart from Spurs and Palace who we still have to play)
I agree, I still think Liverpool will just about finish above us. But it gives us something to look forward to in these final matches, which makes a change from our usual end of season petering out.
