Worth it to guarantee tickets to Fratton Park next season. I've never been before, it will be good character building for my young soul, like my grandparents telling me about the war.

This is the point, I'm sure teams could beat us by a lot more if they wanted to but it's better to rest key players than fully go for the jugular. We're lucky we're playing Liverpool in between games against PSG otherwise that could genuinely be double figures.

Man City have a buy back clause, not sure much but that should be the starting price for any negotiations with any teams. West Ham are known for overpaying anyway so I suspect they'd be willing to stump up £40M plus

I think it's more of a mistranslation - the reason for the injury is long term fatigue (he has the most minutes this season I think?), and nothing too serious like a tear or strain.

The home form is particularly worrying. We don't even draw, it's pathetic, we just roll over. Away we've been not that bad - Ipswich an obvious plus but even before then, since Juric came in we've looked somewhat competitive - Crystal Palace, Man Utd, Forest we had decent spells in those games. Juric isn't the problem, the players are. He'd get us promoted next season very easily and with better players would keep us up. I'd say the same with Martin, but he was heavily influential in the recruitment and so I blame him for this mess more than anyone. Until we remove a lot of the squad, the same problems will continue to exist. We need a new team.

He looked good against Ipswich, so fair to assume he's above average for Championship level. Just hope he can do it on a cold Tuesday night at Stoke

One of the closest away games for me, so one comfort is I'll be tucked up in bed soon after they've done with us. It'll be a horror show, especially if you add in Maresca's record against us (4-1, 5-0 and 5-1).
