  1. London team away please would be ideal
  2. This winds me up so much. The sha la la la song for example, the skates do it brilliantly. Sha la la la la *clap clap* sha la la la la la *clap clap* In the stadium it sounds brilliant. But our fans when we sing the WTFILN version just clap throughout and it drowns out the lyrics, meaning all you hear is just a cocophony of clapping. Noisy but pointless.
  3. I love it. I'm not from Southampton and have never lived there (although grew up in an SO postcode) but I wish we had more songs about the city. Unlike a few cities like Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Bristol, even Stoke ffs, we are a one club city. The one thing that should unite the entire fanbase is the city, and a song about the city is something we need.
  4. I'd love for Stuart Armstrong to sign a new deal. I'd like to thing one is on the table, in recent times (which have been shit) he has been a very consistent performer and one of my favourite players.
  5. He isn't as bad as people make out, I just think because KWP is levels ahead of him (and most other full backs in the league) it stands out a bit more when he makes a mistake. If we do get promoted, we will definitely need a new left back though. I remember Danny Fox in the Prem...
  6. I was wondering that, hope the train line from London is all OK!
  7. I've got scar tissue from that Gillingham game Think we'll win, SAA and Dibling to tear them a new one
  8. My favourite kit of recent times is the 2008-2010 one. Simple red and white stripes, nothing fancy. Helped as well that we won at Wembley in that kit.
  9. On paper it's a tough game, but looking at their forum, they are not happy at all. https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/154951-southampton-predictions/ Get an early goal and it could get quite restless amongst the locals. 2-0 away win I'll go for.
  10. Beat Ipswich and get draws against Leicester Leeds and West Brom would do it.
  11. Uh oh There's a light and pyro show before kick-off tonight...
  12. Hopefully we get a Christmas miracle and QPR can win at Ipswich
  13. https://theanalyst.com/eu/2023/12/championship-predictions-season-december-2023-24/ Some interesting predictions from Opta's Championship Super Computer. We're still an outside bet for top two but we've got play-offs nailed on basically.
  14. The only thing that stops us winning this game is complacency. Hopefully the fact we've closed the gap so quickly to Ipswich will be motivation to keep going, especially as they have QPR on Friday and will very likely get back to winning ways themselves. Think it will be tougher than Blackburn or Swansea games but we'll still win comfortably. 3-0
  15. Our home form has been so good that we're getting back to the days under Adkins where you'd know we'd win before kick off. Early goal and we cruise to a 3-0 win and we can rest some key players in the second half.
  16. They did the same last season in the Championship as well, there were a round of matches on the Thursday after the Christmas and they had two games in the evening, one at 6 and one at 8.15
  17. I don't think we'll see him again until the Walsall game personally.
  18. Bednarek, Bazunu, both Armstrongs, Aribo, they hardly pulled up any trees last season. Ryan Fraser was shit in the Prem. Ings would be an unbelievable signing for any Championship team.
  19. He's as popular there as he was here
  20. No, the threshold increased last week from 5 to 10 yellows.
  21. Hopefully we can put behind us our recent habit of drawing 1-1 away to shit teams and pick up 3 points. If we do want automatic promotion, this is a game we have to win. Hopefully buoyed by the news that one of Ipswich and Leeds will definitely drop points before we kick off so 3 points may equal 3rd place or 3 points closer to automatics.
  22. Ipswich have to play Leicester twice still, and have Leeds in their next game. If we can close the gap to them even to something like 6 points by the end of January, that would be OK.
  23. The bed wetters are out in force I see At home we've been playing some superb attacking football recently. Hopefully another first-half blitz as we've seen recently.
