Before 60 mins, the only difference between the teams was they were much better organised in defence. They score a second and we crumble. This team has a mental weakness and that can't be coached. Btw, Martin is right, we need Jack Stephens. Maybe he isn't the best defender but he is a leader and right now we need him on the pitch. When the going gets tough, I'd rather have someone like him on than Bednarek.

I like Russell, he says the right things... but the reality is I can't see him succeeding as a manager. He can't set us up defensively, and that is what has cost us this season. This may seem weird, but if we stay down I'd keep him, if we go up sack him and get someone in better from the off.

The Hull away game springs to mind, a draw would have been a fair outcome. The QPR game as well (both home and away) we weren't at our best in either game.

Apparently all the pubs near the ground are home fans but pubs in the city centre are usually fine for away fans. Usually the Saints police account on twitter post a list before the game, hopefully they will at some point this morning

I hope there is a future friendly game at Valenciennes. The 3 hour train from London (London to Lille and then Lille to Valenciennes) is shorter than some of the northern away days. Would be a great day out

It's been well over a month since we won away from home so we're due one. Hopefully we get the job done early and can rest a few for Leicester. If Downes isn't 100% then bring in Charles for this one.

The only team goal difference wise we can surpass realistically is Ipswich, and we need them to slip up again at some point for us to even go level on points with them. So if we win all our games and they do slip up, we probably would go ahead of them on goal difference even if we win all those games by 1 goal.

Last time we played Preston, we'd also scored a dramatic late winner in the previous match. Which means the omens suggest Gavin Bazunu will get a goal here.

All I ask for is a routine 2-0 home win before the end of the season, is it too much to ask for?
