  1. He lost the plot towards the end. I won't forget how he blamed the fans for us losing at Aston Villa because we ironically cheered a long ball from the goalkeeper which supposedly encouraged him.
  2. Wasn't a 3-0 game. Ref was terrible. Villa a better team than us. We will beat West Ham, Fulham and Leicester.
  3. One thing that does strike me is that behind the scenes there are a lot of changes, personally changes which we need to make. Sport Republic have been a disaster but if Spors can clean things up and get a consistent structure behind the scenes, it can only be beneficial. I noticed in the finances published for all the teams in the Championship for the previous season that we were way behind our rivals in commerical revenue earned. I thought Parsons was supposed to be sorting this out?
  4. Last weekend you had us, Bournemouth, Brighton and them all away in London, very strange scheduling.
  5. This in red and white would look pretty good
  6. Exactly. Our owners have already acted - a new technical director, head of recruitment sacked - the two biggest issues, they have already accepted they made a mistake and acted. The players aren't good enough and if they don't try or give up (which they have done on occasions) then they deserve criticism. I didn't see that against Spurs - they were just better than us, as most teams are.
  7. About 1000 tickets left on the ticket website, so bad news for season ticket holders wanting to put their seats on the ticket exchange
  8. Since Ruud came in, yes.
  9. Leicester are going well. 2-0 down already.
  10. They rested quite a few players on Saturday because of their Champions League tie so expect a weakened team from them again. It'll mean we only lose by one or two rather than five or six.
  11. Lampard would be a fine choice as well. And having worked with basket case owners such as at Everton, he'd fit in well here.
  12. To be fair, I think the response (the clapping) was more in reaction to the spirited performance in the second half. If we had lost 4-0 there wouldn't have been the same response. Personally, the overwhelming response (from neutrals) has been positive - that we're loyal, supportive and positive, in the face of everthing. So as a reflection on us, players are more likely to want to join us than say Leicester where there is a negative atmosphere at every game. Abusing the players is pointless. And there are people on here (this isn't aimed at anyone in particular - it's just a general trend I've noticed over the last couple of years) and on Twitter who care way too much about what other supporters do, sing, even what they wear or how they get to games, which is a bit rich if you don't attend that often.
  13. Steve Cooper. Track record of working with young players, and knows how to get promoted and keep a team up. It's a no brainer.

    Ivan Juric

Not a surprise really, presumably Spors told him we'd get a new man in and he decided to walk now rather than be a lame duck
  15. In the summer of 2026 we just need to recruit 10 more players of Fernandes's ability. Or tbh, maybe not even as many as that. We went for quantity over quality, hopefully we won't repeat the mistake.
  16. I reckon Dyche will go back to Burnley when they inevitably sack Parker
  17. Most of the squad did battle hard last season, including that all-important game at Wembley and the 26 or whatever it was unbeaten run. And who can forget the many comeback wins including Huddersfield and Watford.
  18. With a full pre-season under his belt and injury free, he can easily get us a lot of goals next season.
  19. Rohl would get us up, I think a lot of managers would easily, but Cooper has experience of keeping a team up which is what we need. And look how bad Leicester have been since they got rid of him.
  20. We can do better than Rohl - Steve Cooper would be the perfect choice
  21. Just seen on the Echo website that a Saints fan sadly collapsed and died during the game on Wednesday. RIP
  22. Yeah I don't really care. There is far more evil going on in the world than football clubs having betting sponsors.
  23. I think we'll lose but hopefully the performance will be similar to the one against Palace where we were competitive. I would love to win just to see the meltdown inside the stadium at full time.
  24. Well at least we didn't lose. Psychologically conceding a last minute goal may hurt but hopefully when they focus on Sunday the players can recognise they played well, fought hard and will get another couple of wins or so with the same level of performance. Palace were utterly terrible, amazing really because they played so well at Fulham at the weekend, we did (for the most part) to completely stifle their attacking threat. We just needed a second goal which we didn't really push for in the second half.
  25. What pisses me off is that we don't even draw games at home, under Juric we have lost EVERY home league match. Specialists in failure.
