In my view, he clearly was not up to the job, as for the most part there were too many losses

No chance against City anyway even if they played there 2nd string side against us they'ed beat us

Anyone know when Austin scored and was celebrating the goal before he found out it was disallowed, who he was having a go at on the sidelines??? it looked like he wasn't too happy with someone in the crowd or maybe it was just the home fans in general after all the stick there've given him recently

I remember when we'd give the top 6 sides a game (even Manchester City) even on our 1st year back we in the premier league in 2012-13 season we shown more fight then this current side has, on this performance it shows just how much we have regressed in the past few seasons and just how embarrasing our recruitment and managing of team affairs is
-
we'll lose this one "CLEARLY" if you listen to Hughes' press conference, it's his new ave word
-
looked like there were loads of empty seats while watching this on the stream Glad I only spent the money on membership this season rather than shell out huindreds for that dross, I was contemplating getting a half season ticket if we kicked on this season but after seeing us play the 10 games we've under Hughes i'm now only going to fork out the extortionate amounts for the supposed winnable games this season as were in for a tough relegation battle again. There no point turning up to watch against the big teams as they'll turn us over at home with ease, can you really blame anyone for not wanting to go it's just shocking at the moment and I just can't see that changing soon. The Premier League is a league for the big 6 teams only, the others have literally no chance competing against them now with all the financial clout they have as they hoover up all the talent the smaller clubs have and poach the managers too, sure Leicester upset them a few seasons back but there was an element of luck and also because they all took there eyes off the ball and paid the price, that will never happen again as all of them now invest heavily every transfer window to improve, yet the smaller clubs fight for the scraps thats left. Our best bet is we bite the bullet and go down then sack our dis-functional board and hope our owner then decides to sell to someone with the passion and finanace's to back it up and gets us back up there again competing for Europe where we belong.

You can't lay the blame on Hughes totally he has said its a work in progress because thats what it is, some players we have are just not good enough at this level and the board/owners willl not stick out there necks to buy the quality we need and would rather spend the money elsewhere on daft pre match pryrotechnic displays etc so there it is......... Thought we played ok today and bossed the game in long periods restricting Wolves flow, we should of taken the chances we had but again lacked the quality we've been missing in the final third, a couple of dreadful errors at the back have cost us much the same as other games we've dropped points this season so far, we MUST start Yoshida at the back with 3 CB's it will a battle to stay up with the players we have much like last season but i think Hughes is better equipped than Pellegrino was and he proved that at the end of last season by keeping us up, we must target the games to get the points we need and today it was a missed opportunity

The theme to the Great Escape
-
Agreed the target is the 40 point mark for us for sure, this game is one of thoese we need to get at least a point from to keep on track for that total
-
look on the bright side there's only 35 more points to win and were safe
-
Great result today from the team... We took advantage of Zaha's absence and upset them with a more Phyiscal approach, rode our luck at times after going 1 up and Charlie really should of put the game our of sight with the penalty, McCarthy had an awesome game keeping them out time and time again and will give Southgate who was watching the game something to think about with the friendlies coming up I feel the team played alot better this week with at least some threat going forward and looked fairly soilid at the back, maybe bigger more technical teams would of punished us but its something they will gain confidence from with an away clean sheet. Only another 36 points to get and we can breathe easy for another season

Both so called big 6 teams Utd and Arsenal are off to shaky starts Utd for not investing in a decent back line and a deluded manager and Arsenal are seemingly in transition This could be a chance for the other so called mid table teams to captilise on this and break the top 6 monopoly down to a top 4 just look at Watford and Bompey currently. It's fustrating this is chance we should of been be up to exploiting if one (or two of them in this case) slip up......sadly with our lack of investment in players and managment over the last 2 seasons I fear it's a challenge we are just not eqiuped to handle currently.....oh what could of been if we had some ambition and belief at the top Will just have to settle for a good old relegation battle like the good old days
-
Saw the headline earlier, 'Reed heads out', great!!! i thought but then Imagine my disappointment when i opened the article and it was Harrison and not Les. ........Just wishful thinking I guess
-
He Looks to be ok to play........... a bit risky if not 100%......we'll see if he is soon
-
he went down in the warm up physios are all over him
-
Redmond injured in warm up
-
Game over......knew it before KO when the line up was anounced
-
Have you actually seem Hoedt play he runs like Bambi on ice and is always prone to at least 1 or 2 costly mistakes each game. had one last week at home to Burnley where he passed the ball back into his own penalty area and they almost scored as a result, would of preferred Maya or Jan in for him........but we'll see, hope i'm wrong
-
Without Vestergaard we are a sitting duck with that pairing in the centre.......not even on the bench?????
-
I didn't say slag him off did I, I just wish he'd just admit he we wrong as he clearly wasn't good enough to play premier league football and they didn't scout him properly, So get off you high horse and berate fans who get a toss, you must really love Les' and Ralph getting away with it then mate, I don't know.....maybe your their love child or something? but most fans think they should not still be here, I so sorry you do, so just clap away every week and take all the crap they spout just like the last 2 years and enjoy it ok .
-
Felt exactly the same with his reponse to the Carillo question, when he said that we do not get it 100% right or wrong and that he was still our player who can still improve do a job for us???? like he will ever grace the football pitch wearing a saints shirt again is completely lauighable, if he had said fair enough we made a mistake and hold his hands up maybe you could give him back some credablity but he just doesn't seem to be aknowledge any accountablity for that and many other mistakes made over the last 2 seasons and instead him and Ralph who backed him up time and again dug themselves deeper holes in the majority of fans eyes
