Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 4-1 Crystal Palace
St Jim replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Great result on Sunday. Just came over from Australia to visit my old man for his 70th. The get together included my old man (Pompey), my brother (Spurs) and my brother in law (Liverpool). Couldn't have enjoyed it more!!!! The cherry really was the Skates f#*&ing up in injury time. -
Almost reminds me of the Oliver Bierhof rumours
-
I'd like to see Burnley Brighton and Wed to get promoted and Villa, Fat Sam and barcodes to go down however I think it will be Boro instead of Wed and Norwich instead of Fat Sam
-
That is what happens once you venture north of the Watford Gap

Just another classic Saintsweb thread

England kit for EURO2016 revealed - what the...?
St Jim replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Wow that is horrible....... At least it'll no doubt match the Euros performance. -
Make sure you get to see a good physio. My one sorted my knees. I also wear minimalist (barefoot) running shoes which have also helped (as it has changed my running style). This all takes time (took about a year and a half to sort out) but was worth it.

I'f you're doing 10km twice a week, it's not much of a step up in the grand scheme of things. When I've done my half's I normally train at 10km then step up a couple of the runs 4 weeks out to 14km then to 18km (normally I try to ensure I have had a couple of 18km runs under my belt before the run). The last one I did (McLaren Vale 1/2 Marathon) my final 3 weeks training were 2 * 10km, 2 * 14km, 1 * 18km and 1 * 7km intervals then took a week of running immediately prior to the 1/2 and ended up with a PB (1:40:58). To be honest, I don't need a marathon to motivate me to run in McLaren Vale ............

Made me chuckle.

Don't like it. As ever with these threads I'll say what I always say - a version of the Xerox early 80's kit or a sash please.

Sorry if this has been posted already but the rumours are that Chelsea are keen to take Poch from the norf London yobbos......... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/mauricio-pochettino-to-chelsea-tottenham-manager-added-to-blues-hit-list-a6835536.html Would love to see their mugs if that happens

Yep, I'll go with that one. Didn't get to many away games but as I had a good mate who was a Millwall fan, I couldn't miss the opportunity to go. Was interesting bring in a local home pub before the game.
-
Something is not right there. The biggest concern I'd have I'd I was a Swans fan would be the fact their direct competition are the ones looking to pillage them.
-
Super news and an absolute bargain.
-
For the worst you've also missed Gavin McCant
-
He does seem to be a good fit for them though - "He made nine appearances in three months and was apparently booed by his own fans during a defeat last month. He failed to score in any of those games and did not provide an assist either."
-
He's only scored 6 penalties
-
I'm glad I'm not the only one thi think that. Interestingly the BBC gave him 7/10. F-knows how. I'd have given him 4 at max. Didn't look theratening going forward, and gave the ball away more times than the number of people the Skates have mugged off, and this was against the might of San Marino.

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
St Jim replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
As much as Alpine moans, so is everyone else....about Alpine. In wondering what's more important, the signing of an 11.5m defender or the rantings and whereabouts of a forum poster. Welcome to the club VVD, let's hope you can fulfil your potential with us. -

Could you imagine Alpine's meltdown if he was a Madrid fan..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34108093 Just goes to show some of you bed wetters, transfers are never straight forward. -
I would love a European super league to be formed and the majority of the finances removed from the EPL, rendering it more competitive. I'm fed up of money ruining sport.
