  1. we've got you now Skates http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-16036967
  2. Where are those fans now? oh that's right, back in their armchair, back watching Soccer Saturday and, oh yeah, back in their Arsenal tops......bestest fans.....
  3. I love this thread - its' the highlight of my day!
  4. it most certainly is!
  5. shhh a minute, is that the sound of reindeer and a fat man in a red coat repeatedly muttering the name of our troll. Christmas must be arriving early!
  6. you're not wrong there how exactly? Unless you have big earners just about to come to the end of their contracts they are almost impossible to shift because no other club is stupid enough to pay the wages you were paying and the players certainly don't want a wage cut unless they have to so it is likely that many of your 'big earners' will remain on your books for the length of their contracts in your eyes Whore. talk to Average Joe who knows a bit football and most will lean towards cheating skates as opposed plucky P****y . I get this even here is Australia by people who know bu&&er-all about football. hmmm you take everyone's word?? Storrie denied any financial problems at P****y Saggy-Chops denied any tax evasion OJ Simpson said he didn't murder his wife Clinton denied any sexual relations Julia Gillard said there wil be no carbon tax under a goverment she leads The fan base isn't low? what's that relative to? despite the inane witterings of you blue few statistically your fan base is lower than ours. since P****y's promotion to the EPL, Saints have had a higher average crowd every season except one. In six of those seasons P****y have been in a higher league with the remaining 3 seasons in the same league. And then we have to have a look at the recent decline, from 18+ thousand to only just over 13.5 thousand inside 2 seasons - 13696 2011/12 15707 2010/11 18249 2009/10 Prpbably but there are so many and they are just so obvious. Telling saints fans not to focus on the negatives at Krap Nottarf is like going into Spearmints and being told not to look at the t1ts. again remind us all what exactly is the potential? it can't be the over paid playing squad because as you mention the wage bill being managed down and they will cease to be on your books. It can't be the ground (unless your name is Wee Jock Poo-Pong McPlop - the famous toilet cleaner in Aberdeen), it can't be the training because as you admit you don't own a training ground (albeit you have available facilities to you (what ever that means) - but then so do all other clubs), it can't be the bestest fan base because there isn't one and if you think you will get them back once the crook Russians stabilise the ship then you are wrong because you will have had to release all of your high paid better players meaning you will have an average team at an average stadium managing average results. So please do tell me where is this potential??? what assets do P****y have that would be an attractive investment proposition?
  7. If that happens I wonder what the odds are that within 12 months news of Tottenham having financial difficulties surface - Bournemouth, West Ham, Southampton and P****y so far - just Spuds left and we get a full house!
  8. You really are thick aren't you? To suggest he has Championship experience because he was someone's assistant is like saying that Steve Wigley had Premiership experience prior to Strachan leaving and Wigley got us to the Cup Final & 8th in the PL. I don't want to p155 on your parade but look how that turned out, mind you, you you keep believeing it - it'll be so much sweeter for us when it goes t1ts up for you. Whore, Any response to post 43621? (cue tumbleweed)
  9. Although not St Mary's (Loftus Rd), but a gem non scoring Saints moment - Niemi going up for a corner and volleying the ball against the crossbar.
  10. I'm not so sure, during the late 90's (in their epl days) I was living in Cov & dating a chick who was from a family of Cov fans & even then the club were giving away tickets just to get crowds (often not getting close to capacity) . I also used to recall as a nipper seeing them on telly with sh17 loads of empty seats so can only deduce that they've always had carp support and always will.
  11. The Irony
  12. Surely if it is on a forum, the poster is telling all readers & trolls of that forum the information. As such you have been told by this poster the information you chose to believe and quickly posted, (probably wetting yourself at the thought of posting this on this thread), but with the get-out clause "wasn't my fault you honour I was told but someone who was told by someone else" just in case your information was misinformation........ in fact I don't know why I'm even bothering in wasting my keyboard because you will probably come back with some inane pedantic point of view and that will then mean that I am conversing in communication with you and my life will be a worse for it
  13. This has really saddended me and do not know how he managed to find the strength to play last night. Thoughts go out to him and his family.
  14. Ooh I do hope so. He'll take them backwards, financially cripple them and load them up with over paid players ............... oh wait....
  15. He has a wife, you know. You know what she's called? She's called... 'Incontinentia'... Incontinentia Buttocks
  16. No I'm English and so's my wife
  17. Massive club Best fans
  18. It's now in the Star.........must be true http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/216790/Southampton-ready-with-bid/
  19. Any legal boffins out there? What does "Verdict to be taken" mean? Also this is meant to happen today (Friday) at 14:04. If that's the case how does the troll's contacts already claim to know the verdict if it's not yet been delivered?
  20. Tell them there's an appropriate cr***y bit of land 20 miles south east of Southampton. It is apprently already occupied but I am sure they will be willing to welcome more like minded individuals (afterall I from their recent actions I understand they were after quantity over quality) and as a selling point there will be new toilet and was facilities in place ready ofr their arrival. I'm sure the theiving scrubby inbred pikey c***s will welcome the Dale Farm residents with open arms
  21. The press will rip the England team to shreds regardless of who plays and what happens (unless of course they win it, which they won't because they're not good enough) so I don't see there being any detriment to playing a large quantity of younger players. I personally think if the youngens are played they will go further than what we actually will with the old fat ***ts playing.
  22. Coupled with that, apparently in the situation of the driver, if they hit accidentally someone and kill them the fine is less than they would have to pay out if the person they hit does not die (they would have to pay medical expenses etc). May go some way to understanding his actions (not that there is any excuse for stopping then continuing to drive over the toddler and then driving off - he's obviously a complete sick c*** with zero respect for human life)
  23. Although stats don't always show you the whole story, they do not lie - With Rooney Played 73 Won 44 Lost 13 Drawn 16 For 139 Against 63 Win % 60.3% Without Rooney Played 29 Won 20 Lost 5 Drawn 4 For 64 Against 24 Win % 69% I say drop the pr1ck along with fat Frank, thieving Gerrard, Terry and Cashley and use the touranment to let the youth gain experinece ready for the WC in 2014.
  24. Because we're 5h1t and not good enough to win the tournament with our without the fat potato head
  25. I think there is an apportionment of what contributed to the disaster has to go to all parties involved. First the FA for giving Leppings Lane end to the Liverpool supporters. Given the support levels of both the clubs (Liverpool being the bigger club than Forrest) it would have been more sensible to allocate the kop end (which has a larger capacity) to the scoucers. Then there's the fences. These were a major factor in creating an unsafe environment. But why did we have these? because of how fans behaved at the time during the 1980's. The fans themselves. If thousands of fans had not turned up ticketless trying to force their way in then this whole disaster would have been averted. It riles me that these fans are looking for someone [police, government etc] to blame when they should own up to the fact that they way the fans behaved in trying to get into the ground at all costs regardless of whether they had a ticket was a major contributor to the disaster. Why does duty of care only apply to the police. We are all have a responsibililty for duty of care. Finally the police. They f***ed up big time. They should never have opened gate C to allow the fans through and if they had no alternative they should have ensured that they could have distributed the fans through the other pens and blocked off 3 & 4 which were already over crowded. Also there should have been better commincation to the other police who could have reacted better to the situation. But lets not forget as a result of the behaviour of fans through the 1980's the police policed matches not with a duty of care to general public saftey - they did it with hooliganism in mind. It is easy with hindsight to see where things went wrong and we should address the issues that contributed to the event so we can learn from the errors that were made but to blame anyone or any body for it is insane and utterly pointless. Grounds were set up like they were, fans acted like they did, and police policed matches in the manner they did all because of the environment of football matches in that era. People should let go, move on but not forget those 96 that perrished in one of British footall worst tragedy's.
