  1. The Bournemouth of Austalia. Its a bit like Norfolk Island, you need to be over 80 to get in ahem!!!
  2. I had assumed that all payment going in and out of PFC were gifts ......... just ask Rosie
  3. I always used to have a pretty low opinion of him .......... not any more!
  4. I've been thinking exactly this after hearing various comments from AA.
  5. In the words of Montgomery Burns .......... Excellent!
  6. As mentioned before, today of all days is not the day to be discussing SFC of SLH on this thread. FOCUS GUYS!
  7. Thanks a lot, now I can't get that image out of my head @
  8. So he's only interested to do the deal before admin? Given the admin hearing is tomorrow that won't give him enough time and if he's only interested if they aren't deducted 10 points he won't be much use in the admin hearing (I had assumed AA would have used him as a potential buyer to convince the court admin was the best option for creditors) . Better get the Delonghi warmed up!
  9. Firstly throw a party, then spend some much needed time with my wife and kids. It'd be interesting to see how many divorces have 'Pompey Takeover Saga' recorded as the "other person"
  10. My post was meant to be light hearted in that if the fppt had been more stringent then they would have ceased to exist and that itself is a travesty that they haven't ceases. That said it's certainly been an entertaining 2 years.
  11. To be fair to them I also blame the FPPT. If the FA & FL had grown some balls the FPPT would have prevented the numerous jokers and criminals taking over at PFC and thus forcing them into extinction. I blame the FA/FL's FPPT for this travesty!
  12. Can we please stop refering to our fishy neighbours as c**ts! There are many c**ts in the world who are now unfortunatley labeled with PFC. PFC isn't their fault and I think it's unfair on them to be tarnished with teh same brush, they may be c**ts but the don't deserve that!
  13. News of PFC has hit Australia with the monies owing to the Western Aussie clubs, however all my colleagues (some who have been in the football industry and may well have played against persons involved in those WA clubs), used to think I was just bitter because the rival team won the FA Cup and that given our recent plight we should be sympathetic (the quote from one of them was "Throwing stones in glass houses James…just remember where your club was at a few seasons back"). I did however think it was my duty to inform the misinformed of the differences between the two (touching nicely on: Our cutting our squad back and playing youth, PFC's buying more players on large wages and releasing their youth; Our paying all taxes, local business and charities, PFC's disregard for monies owed to HMRC, local business & charities; Our paying all debts in full, PFC/AA fiddling their figures to ensure the CVA was voted in and still not yet paying anything of the CVA, to chariteis and local buisinesses. Their comments were "fair point ", "they're f****d then", "sounds like they deserve everything they have coming to them", "roll on Monday". Job done for the day!
  14. You're missing players wages each month plus the players wages that have not ben paid (anyone know how much that is?)
  15. Any indication as to how much is being released to them and what else they'll bedue in the future ? Just thinking about what they'll have to pay - wages, tax (will be 2.4m now) , those Aussie clubs (0.5m), then next month we'll have another 0.8m tax and the CVA installment (which AA won't be able to delay as Baker Fillet are managing that. I think come May we could be getting a bit of dejavu.
  16. I''m still waiting for the comments from his fellow racist, Poyet
  17. ah, yes it is, from 2010 I think - they went into admin at 10.20am then. Would have picked it up but for me that is normal as it's 8.30pm here at the moment. Doh!
  18. Now the fun really begins. Will HMRC oppose the admin, will they find a buyer, will the CVA get paid, will the PL forward the PP, will the FL act now for point deduction, how many points will the FL give them. So many questions, so little time.........for the fishy few anyway!
  19. So my day gets better and better (if only some of the reporting was true!!): And I love this quote:
  20. Will be a quick meeting - HMRC: Can you pay us the 1.6m? PFC: No HMRC: If we cancel the WUP and unfreeze the bank account can will pay us the 1.6m? PFC: FCR states that we have to pay players first HMRC: Oh, OK, well in that case I'll rephrase the question, will you pay us 2.4m? PFC: No because....... HMRC: See you on the 20th then. PFC is like a famous play by Jean-Paul Sartre http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Exit#Synopsis
  21. I'm sure this has been covered numerous times but what is the definitive situation on the CVA? Are the New Co liable for the CVA payments or does the laibility sit with the Old Co and the Old Co have a liabiltiy with the New Co? It's all academic in the sense that without the New Co paying the Old Co the CVA does not get paid, but in a legal laibility sense it could make a big difference, particularly if they default, go into administation or try to prepare another CVA. The other question mark is whether the CVA reverts to 100p in teh pound if there is failure to pay it. If this is true how does this fir in with who the CVA liabiltiy sits with and if it sits with the Old Co, does this increased liabitly get passed on to the New Co?
  22. Like with many things P****y related, no one except the PTS thread.
  23. Manager of a football team paid bonuses based on profit of player sales - I'd argue there would be quite a large conflict of interests. Dodgy as ****
  24. excellent, so if they manage to survive past 20 Feb be it through admin or other means, that'll ensure that the CVA payment is not paid. They're like a retarded Robin Hood - stealing off the poor to give to the rich
