  1. Not getting away with it now. A slow painful torture us so much more fun to watch than the life support being quickly turned off.
  2. I've heard that he still holds a torch form them........
  3. Brilliant......absolutely brilliant. Two phases that repeat on this forum - "you couldn't make this up" and "the gift that keeps giving" As time ticks on, more and more I think he'll be the last Dumbuya at the pikey camp.
  4. Try putting your argument to the other scottich clubs Rangers have cheated. Clubs that may have made Champions League spots and finals of the domestic cup competitions. Not to mention the Scottish tax payer. As been said before - Pompey Jocks. No sympathy from me!
  5. I think that this is well down the pecking order in what needs to be explained at Fartton Krap.
  6. I don't know if it's been mentioned on here before but for some reason I have a sneaky suspicion that the numbers don't seem to add up.
  7. This thread still going?
  8. That is hard to imagine considering that never happened, we have never gone from quarters to stripes.
  9. Still haven't made my mind up on the home kit. I think I'd like it but I feel the aap3 logo just ruins it - looks mickey mouse. Personally think it would look better with black shorts and white socks. Love the away (would actually prefer that to be the home kit). To all those complaining about it being 'not Saints' because it's not red and white stripes, well actually it is red and white stripes (just bl00dy thin ones)
  10. Yes, that's the one. No matter how many times I look at it, it never fails to make me smile & laugh.
  11. For the t-shirt I think the 2 "Who the f**k is laughing now" babies picture (can find the pic on the web anywhere and can't be a453d to search through this forum to find it) Loving hte FB comments - I think a more appropriate comment would be - "I can't think of many things more vulgar, inappropriate and pointless than a skate. Anyone supporting PFC needs to take a long, hard look at themselves."
  12. As far as I see it there are 2 options 1. High earners depart, club saved from liquidation but with a shell of a team and quality that would have Accrington Stanley wetting themselves at the prospect of playing against. Skates struggle and with a potential points deduction are fighting relegation. 2. High earners stay, chinny's deal falls through, Birch liquidates the club Win win situation as far as I'm concerned and it's so dire for them I think even Corpy would now admit that the future isn't rosey and that liquidation is looming large and it's certainly the closest the club have been to going out of business (I kind of miss the guy, when goings on down the M27 went quiet at least we had someone to laugh at, god bless toy selling, caravan living, interbreeding, internet trolls)
  13. Battle of the serial admintrationees (yes I have just made that word up), winner should be awarded -3 points
  14. Yes, those fixtures have scared the living s*** out of me too. After we sealed promotion nearly 2 months ago I hadn't realised we'd have to play Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton, Spuds, and Liverpool all twice......
  15. He is only secured to the value of the asset that is acting as security. Any credit he has supplied above that is unsecured, therefore it really depends on the valuation of he's security to establish if he is unsecured and for how much.
  16. lol that wouldn't touch the sides at P****y, wouldn't even touch the sides of one player's wages even in today's money (30k in 1986 in today's cash is approx 100k). A loan like that to P****y would be like trying to put out the Towering Inferno with a water pistol.
  17. His comeback was crucial for Australian cycling making a huge difference to the numbers watching and the interest in the sport during the Tour Down Under (especially becasue Tour Down Under was teh first and last UCI World tour during his comeback). I'm sure his comeback also made a difference worldwide to the popularity of the sport not to mention the funds and awareness he raised for cancer and charity. I'm with you in that I believe it is just muck trowing, by the authorities who were just p155ed that they couldn't prove the original claims they tried to pin on him. Amazing guy!
  18. St Jim

    Twitchy Gone!

I still think his greatest acheivement was virtually bankrupting P****y

  20. St Jim

    Twitchy Gone!

The prospect of him being jobless would be making him twitch just that little bit more.......
  21. Accrington Stanley..............who are they??
  22. In the words of Betty Hutton - "It's oh so quiet"!!!
  23. Can't believe this thread has got 61 posts on it........oh 62 now - damn it!
  24. I think we all have to face facts that England are not as good as we like to think they are. RH has picked some unliekly candidates for his squad but tbf those 'tried & tested' players most people think should be in the squad but aren't, have on the whole failed to impress in an England shirt. (I can't remember the last time I saw England and thought Rio Ferdinand, Micah Richards, Adam Johnson or Michael Carrick were outstanding)
