Enjoy the trip guys, hopefully catch up with one or two of you at one of the Adelaide events next season. -
As a football shirt, I really like it. I doubt it'd happen but would love to see it with navy shorts.

As I said on the match thread, that was a tedius game of pleasant football. Absolutely nithing of note to write home about apart from our ugly late goal. I think it sjows how important JayRod is for us. When he plays we look so much more dynamic and can attack with some pace. Happy for the points. Big Vic motm for me. Just a monster in the middle, they just couldn't get the ball off him.

What a truley tedious game of pleasant football

Was it or did it come off Lambert before it crossed the line?
-
That's debatable, he probably was but it was marginal. I thought Baines looked more solid defensively whereas there were a couple of moments I though Shaw looked vulnerable (but then he recovered the situations really well) and Baines delivery was better (not that he had many chances to deliver a ball). Shaw was excellent pushing forward, more so than Baines. Different players but if Shaw can either improve his delivery or become so much more solid defensively then I think he'll push Baines for that England fullback spot. Clyne on the other hand was excellent and looked back to his best form. For me he should be going to the WC.

Good win (albeit we didn't score) Was a grwat team performance but Clyne, Cork and Davis stood out for me.

Amen to that!

Ha ha there's more chance of Moyes becoming the next Spuds manager than MoPo. Please let that happen.

Google Ben Cousins. Phenomenal footy player but arguably played his best footy when heavily on illicit drugs.

This report certainly appears to fit with what has happened at Villa http://m.101greatgoals.com/blog/two-employees-of-a-premier-league-club-snorted-cocaine-in-the-boardroom-of-a-rival-team-police-called-observer/

According to Toure, it's because he's African

That's kind of what I thought. All I ever see is praise about him but I do think he draws a point in that there are some players (as I've mentioned, Rooney is one of them) who gets recognition for being mediocre when other players should get it and don't. Playing the African race card has lowered my opinion of him.

Just seen this article on the BBC http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27074317 and was wondering what your thoughts are. Personally I can't help feeling that it's easy for non-white players to play the race card but I do get the point where European and South American players, particularly English players in the English media, get recognition over and above what they should (Rooney is a prime example of that) but I think it's only a select few. Sure Yaya has been a super player for City but is he really in the class of Messi and Ronaldo?

Maybe we'll see him on the Cardiff forums...... http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/26984963

Yep, short of getting one similar to early 80's Xerox era kit, this with dark blue shorts for me would look the K9's knackers! good work sarblaster
