This is true I did not think about the off the pitch politics, I was just thinking the players will get regular league one football.

I took my son at 3 and half I took sweets and iPad to distract him at times, 2 years on and he has been about 30 times now at home and loves it so much we went to Villa away for his first away game this season. I think prepare for 2-3 games that he will watch maybe 40-60 mins then after that he will be okay, it helps if he gets favourite players, my son loved Cork and Mane first season he watched us, now loves Forster and Mane. Also the fact he likes playing football will help him, my son has got so much better from watching Saints and MOTD, he trys to copy the goals players score and watches how to do tricks, he has gone from being one of the worse players in his class at 3/4 to one of the best at 5/6 because he has developed a footballing brain and not just kicking the ball and bunching up with the others.

I really do not get why we didn't use Blackpool last season, league one no money and we could of easily lent them 2-3 players on loan to help with development, I think we should target teams like Bolton and Charlton.

I will be buzzing as much as LCFC fans yesterday if we win today, a 6th place finish would be amazing.

I fancy us to win this and really push for 6th place, No Ali and should be no Demeble and Lamela along with possible injuries to Rose and Toby.

Europa is a comp that players are starting to want to play in and the standard being better, the best way we can qualify for CL will be from winning that comp, next season Chelsea and Liverpool will be much better and back in the top 5/6. I would love 5th or 6 but cant see it happening.

Two back up players who are not performing and probably not good enough to start for us now we are trying to push into the top 6 and with the return of Jay Rod Austin and what looks like a revised Mane, they problay will not be starting anytime soon. However I assume it is not true.

I hate being known for selling are best players, but in fairness to the board we have got good money for all the players that left, but I do not want anyone going bar Wanyama as 1 I think we are better without him and 2 he ****ed me off in the summer with demanding a move, if Jay Rod and Foster had played more games we would have at least 4-6 more points then we currently have. I think if the board are ambitious as they say and want Koeman to stay past next season they need to let him keep everyone he wants plus allow him to bring in a few players. IMO we are two good players away from being top 6, buy a top class CB allow them to play with VVD and Fonte in the 3 and then allow Bertrand to push up to LWB plus a striker if Jay Rod and or Austin look like they will struggle again next season with injuries.

Great win much needed to finish top 8. Hopefully Manes red card gets reversed after appeal and Pelle hopefully has found form.

Depends what you want out of a CB, VVD is better in the Air and more goals about him, Toby is better playing out of defence and quicker.

I know NBA is not a popular sport to many on this board, but anyone watching the NBA all star weekend and if so know where you can get full highlights from ? I am a diehard Sixers fan so Saints have been my only team to cheer about this season, so when generic events like this happen its nice to just sit back and appreciate the talent on show.

8th and 7th place finishes in the last two years have caused us to have expectations to maintain this and may hinder why JWP has some doubters, JWP would walk into any team in the bottom 5/6 of the premier league and he is only 21, he has some great qualities like work rate,crossing,set pieces and very rarely gives the ball away, he lacks a killing pace down the middle and shooting however I am not bothered about him scoring goals we have plenty of players that can in Pelle Long Austin Jay Rod Mane and Tadic.

Positives Romeu looked quality today and bar two mistakes we looked alright vs a top 8 side. Personally I would let Wanyama go to Spurs and see if we can get Townsend or someone half decent, we need better attacking options then Gaston and Junami, sadly Jay Rod looks like he's not going to be the same, I would then recommend he gets another defender a young promising one from the championship. I do think injuries have screwed us and shown our lack of depth, Frazers positioning wouldn't of been that bad for the 2nd goal, Jay Rod would of been a much better impact then Juanmi and I think Gardos would be much better then Yoshi.

I love Koeman but he's looked lost and you can't drop Mane for breaching club rules, you must fine him when you have injuries to Jay Rod and Pelle. If Koeman is allowed money in Jan to buy quality he will turn it around and be able to have strict rules in place.

Same he could not build on his good performance vs Arsenal it shows that Cedric is still our best RB, but sadly he is not good enough yet if we want to match last seasons 7th place finish, however I am confident he will become a decent RB he just needs to adapt.

I think Koeman has the right rotation, Clasie for 65-70 mins and then Romeu comes on for the last 20-25 if we are winning, if not JWP. Davis is playing well wide right at the moment but I do not see that staying that way, he is a top CM and would rather he play Davis and Romeu holding next week vs Sunderland and hopefully Long will be fit to maybe come out on the RW. Both Juanmi and Clasie need to hit the weights to be honest.

Good player and a fan favourite specially for the children, reason my 4 year old loves him is because he was so nice to him by moving the fat 40 plus year olds trying to get a autograph to sell on out of the way, then letting me take a photo with him and he waved and said bye back to my son when he got in his car. Really hope we can just offer him loads of money and try and get back into Europa and that will hopefully be enough to keep him here another season at least.

I would love him here, but I will not be disappointed if we do not sign him as I think Caulker will develop into a great CB for us and hope Koeman plays him more over the next few weeks even if VVD signs. Yoshida has done well last 2 games but I still think he should be pushed to 4th choice and even 5th when Gardos is fit.

Soares will become a top RB for us IMO. Watch him have a good solid game vs Watford, Yoshida is a guy I want on the bench to come on and cover if we need it.

I expect Veho have made some money from the deal, I would love for us to stay in partnership with them for a long time, I use there products now alot and Im sure alot of other Saints fans do.

I would say that to ensure you all have a ticket for the big games yes you will need a membership, I got one for me and my son its nice knowing we can go to any game we want if we have the money, general sale for them games will have some conditions like must have been to two or three home games this season.

Our match day squad will have JWP Reed and Target on the bench most weeks and will start them in league cup games I assume. When everyone is fit, I think Jay Rod Frazer and Bertrand are the only English players starting each week and possibly Caulker, if not he will be on the bench, we have plenty of English players, we just lack academy players purely because other teams nick them off us, I am more then happy for us to only have 3 English guys starting if it allows us to finish top 8 every season without losing 3 or more 1st team stars.

I do fear for Reed and JWP now, when everyone is fit they are 5th and 6th choice, Long and Davis will be super subs which leaves one sub left to come on, however the positive is the depth is great, should allow us to rotate and keep are best 11 fit and fresh for the schedule, maybe Koeman wants to win Europa to qualify us for the CL ?

I have no problems with Europa other then Thurs/Sun football, If we go far in the comp we can help aid development of the under 21/22 players like Reed JWP Targett etc, they can play in the league cup games and 2nd leg of this round and hopefully the last game of the group stage. Hopefully we can maintain a top 8 finish and gain experience in Europe to help us maybe next season or season after have a real chance of winning it and making the CL. Sports science and writting off the league cup in the early stages should allow are players to stay fresh and maintain good performances in 2/3 comps, we have enough depth with the academy players.
