Stephens played well as did Yoshi at times but both missed picking up Abrahams early on, neither can mark very well and we need a better choice CB partnership if we want to finish 7th or 8th and have a good cup run. I think Stephens would be a great DM to be honest.

If I remember rightly Lander sport liked that we developed players and sold them. As for the stadium expansion they really need to reduce ticket prices to fill the extra seats, I have always said if we charged 30 quid for crap teams and 35 for decent teams and ST were 500-520 we would get 38,000 easy for premier league games. For me if they develop the stadium reduce ticket prices but carry on allowing the club to self efficient and sell and spend less and we finish top 10 I wont complain, sadly the Americans have the right approach to sport and ensure fair play with draft and salary caps in NFL and NBA, We will never be a top 4 club unless a few of us have kids that become world class and we make them stay loyal.

I love using Sportsmania, Willow does a great job most of the time and I think paid add ons is the way forward, all the free ones will get shut down even more now this season especially the BT and Sky ones, I know people love having the Sky or BT commentary and analysis but for 50 quid a year I do not care who's speaking as long as its English.

If all Adult tickets are capped at 30 and kids prices stay as they are we would get 35-36,000 each week no problem.

He deffo has premier league potential but not sure he would be a regular starter for top 8 sides like ourselves, I think rotation striker for us or other top 7/8 sides or starter for teams like Stoke Burnley Swansea etc.

100% Worse team since we have joined the premier league again. With Stephens and Yoshi as the main CBs unless VVD comes around we have no chance of a top 8 finish unless Austin and Gabba stay fit all season and both bang in 15 plus goals and we out score teams. I say with the current squad and everyone staying fit majority of the season - VVD we will finish between 9th and 11th, If VVD stays and plays then 8th is achievable and another cup final, one his day he is one of the best CB in the world at the moment and makes us so much better.

Well he's better then McQueen who like Stephens is overrated by this fan base.

Forster Bertrand VVD Yoshida Cedric Romeu Davis Redmond Boufal Austin Gabba Tadic JWP and Long off the bench and given a lot of starts if players are underperforming in their relevant positions.

Would love for both to play together at times, if not worse case they will rotate them every few games and both will play 30 plus games should they both stay fit. Austin and Gabba could be the new Lambo and Jay Rod combo that worked really well.

Never said that, I said I need more convicing before I rate him as highly as others do on this board.

We played a championship side and I fully expect him to look decent agaist them, he needs to this in the prem more regularly before I am convinced he's a starting CB for a team wanting to finish top 8.

Okay tad harsh by me saying championship at best, but he's someone who could start for teams like Watford Burnley and Swansea on a regular basis if he carries on his development. But if he was that good and rated by the England coaches he would of started for the u21s a few weeks back.

McQueen, Stephens and Reed are overrated by this fan base, all 3 are championship at best, Targett is slightly better IMO. I would get rid of Gardos, McQueen, Reed and Gazza. Reed is getting older now and not going to make it IMO at a top 8 club and play regularly, Stephens is the same but at CB you need a 4th choice with some experience.

8th or 9th is where I expect us to be with the current squad. Stephens and Yoshida are not good enough to be regulars in a side that finishes 8th going forward, purley because you will need to break the 50 point barrier again this season to achieve top 8. But a cup QF or SF and 8th would be a nice season as long as we hit 50 plus points and play some good football, then build on it and try to finish above Everton once they lose Lukaku and be ready to pounce on any of the top 6 should they have a bad season again.

Would rather we sold Long and kept Jay Rod, Jay is 2 years younger and able to play out wide or down the middle and Long is better down the middle which I think will see him struggle for playing time as Austin and Gabba will be the main strikers.

He can't mark his man, he can do all the other stuff so I am not saying hes crap but thats a key for me from my defender, yes he can bring the ball out and do some good headers but for me he has to be 3rd or 4th choice, behind VVD and one other plus Yoshi.

Lander sports if they are borrowing to buy the club would be concerning but I am sure KL will keep some ownership and ensure nothing bad happens. Lander look like from them blueprints that was leaked that they want to increase revenue through stadium and surrounding areas with fan zones, now unless you cap games at 30 quid no way are we selling out every week or close to it and if they don't cap it then expecting fans to spend more at these fan zones is a joke especially with the economy as it is and a uncertain job future with Brexit for many of us.

If true this would indicate to me Puel is staying, I think Jay Rod would stay if he had a different manager, personally I would of sold Long and gone into next season with Austin Gabba Jay Rod with Redmond Tadic Boufal and Sims as the attacking options. I did not feel we needed to buy any attacking players this summer but if Jay Rod goes I would prefer to have another option who can play wing or striker, as I do like Long but he's only playing if Austin and Gabba is not playing as he only really plays well down the middle.

I would take that for him this summer, this season he has been overrated and and he thinks he is better then what he is. He has potential to be a player of that calibre but he really needs to prove it next season by being more consistent.

Jay Rod deserved more playing time, you say he did bugger all but he had a few goals and assists which I am sure mins to goal/created goal is better than Boufal,Long,Tadic and Redmonds.

I hope he is either staying or we are sorting compo out with saint-etien and talking to a new manager in the meantime, worse case scenario is we sack him early next week and we do not have a replacement in by the end of the week, Transfer window officially opens 1st of July and we normally do our transfer business early and try to settle players into the team, the new manager will need more then a week or two to assess the current squad and have a list of targets as well as his own to negotiate with the board to add.
