Having left work about 4 years ago I havn't had much time to check in.... Nice to see the old thread still going strong ;-) Fond memories of HMRC court cases and 'arry in the dock. The fiasco of the car park attendants pay packet. Charity payments being swallowed in to the PFC debts and shop closures. Penny Mordant begging the tax payer to throw tax payers money in the bottomless hole... They never believed that it would take most of a decade to return...

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird’s mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird’s attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to ‘clean up’ the bird’s vocabulary. Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even more rude. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he’d hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John’s outstretched arms and said “I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I’m sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior.” John was stunned at the change in the bird’s attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird spoke-up, very softly, “May I ask what the turkey did?” Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Plenty of duel sim phones on the buyincoins.com website. They are a reliable seller. I have done plenty of trade with them. However some of the mains leads and chargers are not to uk standards.

I hate to think what the "exclusive reward" is? Something they bought into the shop and sold none of?

Ok, so. You get a google car and apart from the hideous smiley face and boredom.... You get in it and ask it to go to SMS. So it sets off, and starts asking you questions... Do you want to go shopping, I can suggest 3 shops that sell SMS SIM cards. Do you need a loan? Do you need Viagra? Then you going along you see your mate walking along. You want to offer him a lift but the google car won't let you stop on a yellow line and insists you pull into one of the car parks on its database. You get to the car park... You wanted the space under a tree (cos it's hot) near the loo. But google car wants space it's booked right up the other end. Next to the opposition coaches. Then your google car starts nagging you to buy it tyres. Go to a health club 200m away, free smoothies 150m away.

I would agree with most of this. When starting out or restarting after a break you, nothing sells. You need to run some bargain auctions to get things moving. Also selling as many different items as you can. (Listing the same item with 10 different descriptions helps. It fits iPhone, fits galaxy, as two separate items. I quit because the UK postage charges have hit my profits. Not to mention eBay and PayPal increasing the charges. I also printed postage via eBay ASAP and the bar coded labels go through the automatic sorting offices faster than hand written labels . Parcels to poor eu countries get long delays and get you poor feed back. (Italy, Russia etc. )

My mate was curious where this tiger was, and how long until he would be hungry again? It just he's weighing up the cost if a divorce and figures a trip to see the tigers would be easier than building a patio! -

You need to measure the lines in the road. Are they 1m or 2m? -

You need to check the signs and the traffic order. They put this order on a temporary order. Has it been renewed? Send a freedom of information request to the relevant council for a copy of the traffic order. Check the signs are exactly where they should be, both sides of the road, that the red circles are still red not orange. That hat there are no side roads and slip leading into the site are also signed correctly The terminal signs into the site should be lit as it's a "principle rd" and there are street lights in the vicinity. -

If they went into administration (again) out side the football league, would the football creditors rule apply? Could all those pesky players payments be reduced to a manageable 1p in the £1?

Any one brave enough to predict the Rochdale score and the resulting goal difference by next Sunday ?

Sadly there is no one left with gravitas. No heavy weights. What labour needs is people with the understanding of every possible gameplay like mandleson. The booming voice of Prescott and the calm statesmanship and integrity like John Denham. I just don't see any one in any of the parties with close to that range of talent. Paddy Ashdown was a good all-rounder. I think this budget is a dash for cash, benefit cuts haven't delivered as much as they expected so they want to inject your pensions into the economy. A sort of GQE. Grey Quantitive Easing. I personally see raising personal allowance helping a lot of pensioners and low income people. I can see sensible people making thier own decisions about their pensions as a good thing. The trouble is half the people I worked with on 30-40k are not very financially astute. They did not make good decisions on a very good share save deal. They did not make good use of tax planning. People leased cars without knowing how much the car was costing them. They had huge mobile phone contracts when they made about two calls a day. They took loans to buy a car at 16% when they had a flexi mortgage at 5%. I also fear there will be a new market spring up instantly to relieve these people of their pensions. The PPI, people need a new scam to move to.
