  1. "Beattie is an absolute bloody disgrace and should never wear the Saints shirt again" - Me, the game before he went on his goal streak in WGS's first season. "This Ali Dia doesnt look bad" - Me, just after his first touch was a shot on goal in his only game. I also told my old man "Perry Groves will be a bloody good signing for us" On the plus side i never liked Lowe from the first time I saw or heard him !!!!
  2. George Mainwaring - Capt - Warmington-on-Sea DONT PANIC !!
  3. If thats true, and i have no reason to doubt Pilchards especially, that is disgraceful and says a hell of a lot about why the "boysh" are tired playing two games in a week.
  4. Absolutely right......cos we were playing Man Utd it has now been bought to the attention of the national media and football followers in general......still presumably in Rupert World that just means the lunatic fringe has got a bit bigger.
  5. Actually, thinking about it, that statement is a load of crap. When the stadium was built we had the tag line from our glorious leader "We built it...You fill it".....and for 4 years we did but he still managed to screw it up didnt he ? More bums on seats will not result in better players or keeping our current better ones.....Lowe will still do whatever he wants and if you honestly believe an extra 10,000 on each gate will make any difference you are seriously deluded......just look at recent history at SMS !
  6. We didnt exactly get "great value" against Notts Forest, Plymouth and Blackpool at home this season though did we ? We dont exactly get great value in the goal scoring stakes either do we ? I am past applauding nicely the oppositions 2 yard tap ins cos our defence is awful. I am pleased you enjoyed your day out, but if you had been to every home match this season the continual defeats would be getting on your tits by now. I have witnessed a great deal of the Disaster this season but its been very short on the Triumph front. If and when that imposter makes an appearence I will let you know if I can treat them the same !!!!
  7. Well he isnt brilliant by any stretch of the imagination but as to why he wasnt playing or bought on today is totally beyond me....... But then so much that JP does is beyond me.
  8. Afraid it was Um. It was right in front of me and as soon as it happened I thought he's gonna be off. You cannot go in like that with studs raised. It was a definite red unfortunately.
  9. He is out of his depth......just like the guy who picks him ! Quite frankly he is of a standard that he should be playing for Salisbury or Weymouth in the Conference. If he is this slow at his age what the hell will he be like at 30 ?
  10. You are absolutely right Invicta, spot on. The middle third of the pitch is all the pretty pretty stuff The defensive third of the pitch is like a scene from Dads Army with only Corporal Jones shouting "Dont Panic ! " missing The attacking third lacks penetration.......in fact there is more chance penetrating a nuns fanny than there is us scoring goals regularly.
  11. This will be the same Jan who is told whats going on by Lowe when Lowe thinks he needs to know. This is the same Jan who was sure Jack Cork would stay here. This is the same Jan who would use Dyer when he returned. Sorry, but if nobody has left come 2 Feb then i will believe him. He is only the monkey, its what tune the organ grinder plays that is of concern to me.
  12. I have no idea...why ? Does it put doubt into your mind as to wether she is telling the truth then ? Dont really see the relevance, I am just relating what I heard from her own mouth.
  13. I expect the Dutch players would get tired if they had to play two games in a week unlike our finely tuned young ..................oh sorry !
  14. Why would they never match it ? They both declare themselves fans of the club, they both declare they have come back to stabalise and save the club and they have both come back to be hailed as heroes for restoring SFC to the premiership........havent they ? Or have they come back for a different reason ? Both CAN afford to match Crouch's cheque btw. Wilde was going to put £2 million in when he first came here, that was his first broken promise I think you will find....and Lowe has just paid £1 million for some prime fishing river bank in Scotland. Not point scoring......trying to help out the club you love.....of course Crouch is the only one of the three who is a genuine and lifelong Saints fan isnt he ?
  15. Unfortunately I have no idea. I think 2009 will be worse than 2008 for us to be honest.
  16. Well Leon Crouch wrote a cheque for £2 million a few weeks ago and asked Lowe and Wilde to match it in order to write off the overdraft to Barclays. They laughed in his face. The source of this story - Mary Corbett.
  17. So all we need now is a centre back or two, a right back and a goalscoring centre forward and all our problems are solved............................
  18. It is a pretty standard thing nowadays yes BUT if memory serves didnt we not only get £7 million plus Le Saux didnt Chelsea carry on paying some of Le Saux's wages for the first year ? That might have been instead of a sell on clause.
  19. Would pick all those myself I think. Only one missing was Phil Boyer against Notts Forest in 1979. We won 4-1 and Boyer fininshed off an excellent move.
  20. You wrote THAT letter !!!! ha ha Irony is a wonderful thing......
  21. You are not welcome at this club You have divided the club and the fans You have gambled with the future of this club with your Dutch experiment You talk down to your paying customers and treat anyone who disagrees with you with utter contempt. You have sacked good people whose only crime was speaking out against you You are pompus You are arrogant Please go................NOW
  22. That has always been my argument as well. But I guess with self interest toppermost in the minds of Lowe and Wilde they would want something out of it to step aside. Besides wouldnt that equate to Lowe admitting to a mistake ?
  23. Well exactly, I am still waiting for someone at the club to explain how young athletes (dont laugh, thats what they should be) can get tired playing two games a week. Its just bull****.
  24. Well he will have to play them tomorrow cos, as usual when they play 2 games pretty close together the "boysh" will be tired !!!!!
  25. Perhaps its just me, too much food etc etc and my brain has gone but could someone please explain the wisdom behind JP leaving Euell, Perry and BWP out of the game at Plymouth and "resting" them for the Reading game ? As far as i can see why would you fail to play your strongest team in the game you are most likely to have a chance winning ? Plymouth or Reading........umm.......I would have thought that the chances of beating Plymouth were better than beating a Reading side who are excellent away and will be gunning for us after beating them, somehow, at their place. Have I missed some great Dutch tactical thinking here or what ?
