Oh dear oh dear oh dear, how sad, what colour is the sky in your world John B ?
-
What a bit like Fergie, Brian Clough, Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Matt Busby etc you mean ? Now lets think, they were the most successful managers of recent times and LM tried to run Saints like that during, wait....our most successful times !! Umm.
-
Too many consortiums for Mr Fry (and us)?

At last - a voice of reason and common sense. Exactly the point i tried to make on another thread - you are not going to buy theis football club to lead it down the path it has already been taken down, that would be suicide. -
Sounds like Andrew Surman to me !!

You can buy tickets through the OS too if you are signed up for buying match tickets with them.

For those that are worried that Lowe will make a third comeback lets look at this logically. Whoever buys the club will want to make a go of it, they arent going to chuck their money down the drain. So to make a go of it they need big attendances, a decent manager and a successful team. Now anybody buying into that knows that to build a decent team you need revenue, to obtain revenue you need bums on seats. And even Lowe's closest allies know that there is no way you will get decent attendances if Lowe is involved in SFC again, certainly not until the club is pressing for promotion from whatever league we may be in, so in other words at the start of their ownership they are relying on the feelgood factor. Lets not be mistaken, most of RL's mates are led by one thing, and that is money, and money to these people is a bigger master than Rupert Lowe will ever be. Thats why I believe we will never have him darken our door again.

for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows : - )

Oh there is no doubt about that.....he knows to play Euell instead of Saga.... now then, a one on one, who is your money on ? Euell or Saga ? Its a bloody no brainer isnt it......and for those who say saga hasnt been very good of late I dont recall Euell being brilliant !
-
as has been suggested already the Football League wont have to strain their brains too hard on the 10 point issue, we are gonna make it so easy for them : - (
-
Unfortunately a lot of people will not admit that we are ****, the league table very rarely lies, especially 40 games in !!!!
-
what a ridiculous thing to say......do they never learn these bloody commentators ?
-
We are to assume that Euell is more likely to score than Saga then are we ? Oh dear.
-
I am sure Mr Lowe will be listed on the official website and in the programme when they print the list of thankyous for all those who donate over £1000 to help the club keep going this season. If he loves the club as much as he says and none of this is his fault I'm sure he will be only too happy to donate to the club he loves. Lets just wait and see IF his name appears shall we ???? (my bet - like hell it will ! )
-
Seeing as the City Council bailed out the club (yes Lowe and Co.) when they blew the Stoneham project by offering them the old gasworks land I think the Council would have every justification to say that they have done their bit for the football club............. However...is there local elections this May in Southampton ? Could be a wee bit of a vote winner if there is : - )
-
He has to do this to try and erase the stigma he will have in the business world having led a company into administration. I cant see any other reason for him to keep on with his "it wasnt me guv" mantra. Me thinks he doth protest too much personally !! : - )
-
He's not great, but he is a fan, he does admit to his mistakes and he is a hell of a lot better and cares more about the club and the supporters of SFC than Lowe and Wilde.
-
Yeah but dont let the facts get in the way when you are as bitter as moanji is Um !!!
-
Well said sir......but why let facts get in the way of a little slagging. If nobody had said a bloody word before yesterdays match you can be sure some would have been on here saying "where is the rallying cry" or "dont the club appreciate the mess we are in" etc etc Incredibel - dammed if you do, dammed if you dont.
-
Just like with my question I see you have totally ignored two thirds of vectis' post !!
-
Mary Corbett ?
-
On the evidence of yesterday i think he already is !!
-
That would explain a hell of a lot with regard to both of them.....obviously cant judge Pulis...thankfully !
-
I think, for the league we are going to be in then Paul Ince or Steve Coterill are about the best we could hope for. Never thought i would say it but i would go for Coterill.....only because League 1 is about his level (tho he did well at Burnley for a fair while)
-
I think he has lost his confidence, the pressure of our league position has got to him and to steal one of Dave Merrington's fave phrases I think he lacks the mental toughness a player needs, especially now. Of course both JP and now Wotte keep on about how the poor little lambs are tired so perhaps he gets tired quicker than the rest !!
