If he pitched up on a few threads then you could use the argument that he is just a fan with a different opinion. But he pitches up on nearly every thread and argues the toss on each and every one. That is not just having a differing opinion, that is being argumentative and attention seeking. Just all put him on ignore if you dont like his ramblings, though like i said it doesnt completely work but it gets rid of 75% of his "views"

Well he ticks most if not all those boxes. Even with him being on my ignore list I still cant escape him (as his ramblings often appear in quote form on responses) as he hi-jacks every thread, argues with just about anyone (oh sorry, has a different opinion to just about everyone) and is now in the business of including MLT in his ever growing list of targets who seem to be just about anyone except you know who !! I am sick to the back teeth of reading a thread which soon turns into farce and shoots completely off topic when he appears. And to be honest if you have him on ignore and see three or four posts in a row from him blanked out it looks quite funny, like he is having a little rant all to himself.

Given that they will cost about £65 million more than us to buy and the level of expectancy for greatness beyond their wildest dreams would be there from Day 1 from 60,000 screaming Geordies............no.

The interesting thing is, if we are taken over and dont go out of business then whatever the League problems that Pinnacle talk about will come out.....or if they dont exist we will know, as will MLT, that a few porkies have been told. Be interesting to see what happens IF we get a buyer.

I think in fairness, although I too have been alarmed at some of the abuse dished out on this forum, a lot of this is an excuse. Do you really believe a businessman who saw this as a long term investment to return the club to past glories would walk away cos of a bit of name calling etc by people hiding behind an IP address who had no knowledge of any facts surrounding them ? Christ, what would they have done if we had lost every game up to the end of November and there were demos outside St Marys after a game ??? They kept on about their longterm plan....Premier league in 5 years.....yet we are now to believe that a short term problem, possibly a further deduction of points, has ended that plan ? They would definitely have to agree to the suitability of the proposed board members at the very least so, and I may be wrong, but as I see it Pinnacle would only lose it IF they pull out of their own accord, bearing in mind MLT's comments about accepting the -10 points to get the deal done. Pinnacle are still in the driving seat as they have been cleared by the FL et al !!

In fairness you know as much as the rest of us about the Swiss.......ZILCH ! So how can you decide ? You have the choice of buying one of two houses in the same road in the same town but you decide not to take a look at either of them. How do you decide which one you want then ?
