Not even close to being true........never played a single game and didn't ask to be loaned out either.
-
I see The Shiek of Araby has told the blue few he will be at the first game of the season. And that proves he is going ahead with the purchase of the club how exactly ?
-
Got a feeling they have been using that call centre in Devon for the last three or four years.
-
I think the excitement, if that happened, would be too much for me
-
Think previous rosey cheeked chairman - he is doing irony
-
I would think so. That will come in the "Revised and Updated" paperback in about 6 months time
-
Well if its a signing at the megastore you can virtually guarantee that will be the RRP of £18.99. Book signings usually are at full price cos you get the increased value of someones signature in it (I got Charlton Heston's autobiography a few years ago, signed, and of course now he has passed away the value of the book increases) Amazon is cheapest at the mo for £10..........so get it virtually half price and get MLT to sign it another time (at an evening match for instance as he is usually there when not on Sky)

Who was the last Saints player to score on their debut?
beatlesaint replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
Bradley Wright Phillips against Eastleigh ? -
Watford have had over 3 months to sign him since the end of last season......they have hardly been beating the door down have they ? And just remember the 2 managers he played under at Watford are no longer at the club. I hope AP persuades him to stay cos if he plays like he did tonight and against Hearts he and Lambert, with Patterson as back up, will be awesome
-
Yeah you have to get a ticket from the Ticket Office as I asked a steward the same question at the Hearts game when it was unreserved seating !
-
at least one more centre back, preferebly two given Perry's age and Thomas's fitness. A hard man centre midfielder Another striker Right sided midfielder (left side sorted) So 5 in all I reckon or 4 if you only go with one CB. I would think you could get two of the 4 as freebies/loan players and pay a fair amount for another striker and one of the other positions.

Me too No contest actually, Wright is far far better than Wotton.

This is an awsome signing.......to think I would have been happy with the lad Craddock from Luton.......this just shows how we have to start thinking of SFC as a proper football club again and not a **** heads play thing !!!
-
With the best intentions possible though FF - to save the club we, and he, love !! Totally unlike some who have made many mistakes with regard to this football club whilst having no real feelings for its history or standing. I struggle to believe that some want to point the finger at MLT in the same way as some continue to criticise Leon Crouch. Very sad IMHO.
-
Two questions - why tackle the issues ? Its in the past, move on. Secondly - why have you changed your name from 19 Canteen ? You are obviously one in the same, the writing style and opinions are identical so why the change ? I will just have to add you to my ignore list again
-
yeah sorry, i posted at the same time as you i reckon !!
-
If your ex County player source is Lee Todd no wonder it was wrong !!
-
Well with that and Match of the Day on together every Saturday night then available on the red button all Sunday morning I think its fair to say the Beeb do actually take their football coverage seriously whereas ITV seem to think that beating the BBC to the rights is job done !

Andy Oldknow !

The fact that, according to AP he kept putting off agreeing the deal SFC put to him with excuses about his agent and an illness in his agents family etc suggests he DID use SFC as the only reason he kept putting off signing was in the hope another club would come in for him. Warnock failed to sign the striker he was after (was it Craig Beattie ? ) and so he came back for his second or third choice, a couple of weeks after evidently deciding he could get better. Stern John used us as his fall back in case nothing else came along. Fair enough, and good luck to him, but he did use us at the end of the day and probably hindered the process of getting a new centre forward in as, up to the Hearts game, it was pretty obvious that AP was going to employ him as his first choice striker.
-
No he was wearing a Saints shirt.....Lowe never put any money into the club
-
I thought he had a decent game today.....unlike the stupid old git sat next to me who slagged him off everytime he got the ball.....in fact he slagged every Saints player off for something or other today................there is gonna be a row long before this season is out if he carries on like that
-
A little bit better than ITV's **** poor The Championship last season then !!
-
maybe so but if he is desperate to go he will need to look bloody interested otherwise nobody will buy him and what does that do for his career and chances of playing for Poland again ?
-
Their official site statement sounds very Tony Lynam to me
