  1. Umm....as tamesaint has pointed out season tickets are NOT transferable and you have indeed broken the law. Is this not worse than MLT's crime which you insist on mentioning as often as you can ? MLT failed to see the crime through to its conclusion, you have blatantly broken the rules which bind you when purchasing a season ticket and prevented SFC gaining added revenue which would have come from your mate and his son buying tickets ! Should we inform Mr Cortese of this total dis-regard for club rules or perhaps we could elevate the matter and let the Police or Crown Prosecution Service know. Thankyou for your kind offer but I do not want anything from you, least of all to be party to your rule breaking practices. I pay my way where Southampton Football Club is concerned thankyou very much. I assume now everytime you dig up your little Le Tiss rants you have no objection if people chose to dig up your "error of judgement" as well then ? How can we be sure that your actions have not influeneced the outcome of yesterdays game ? Your mate may have shouted out a comment that was heard by a player and that distracted him or made him change his mind by selecting a different pass or giving the ball away....and as soon as that happened the whole thing snowballs and changes the game. You could find Tranmere Rovers FC taking legal action against you and your mate, all because you broke a rule, in the same way as Wimbledon (or MK Dons as they now are) have done because MLT changed the course of that game back in 1995....oh wait, they haven't have they....blast ! With the high moral code and holier than holy attitude and outlook which you insist on ramming down our throats at every MLT/McMenemy/Crouch/Strachan etc criticism you post I am deeply shocked and saddened to find that you are not as perfect as the picture you love to paint.
  2. Well simply because as someone else has mentioned, you seem to have based your opinion around what the Echo editorial has stated......unless you know more, which you indicate is not the case. Normally your posts are more rounded and take both sides of a situation into account whereas on this occasion you have jumped to the Echo's side and decided NC is being "pompus". I dont even remember you referring to the rosey cheeked one as that too often If Cortese is in the wrong on this, and it seems a matter of opinion and knowing the full story would help, then it will be the first time he has put a foot wrong since coming to the club. Surely, given that, someone as sensible and balanced as yourself would be inclined to cut him a little more slack. Apparently not, hence my puzzlement. Regards
  3. Oh, alright then......since you asked so nicely !!!
  4. Totally agree.....and by the way Duncan, check on the Echo website for their match report You do puzzle me sometimes Duncan, you really do.
  5. Didnt make it to St Marys today then 19C.......or were you typing your typical half arsed wordy responses on your laptop in the concourse before kick off ?
  6. At the risk of repeating myself, which I do everytime this stat is updated, has any club in the country got a better record at the moment than us ? I think not Forget the Torquay nit picking argument and enjoy being the best form team in Britain and possibly Europe and possibly the World !
  7. Terrible miss. Sell him.......he's rubbish !
  8. Exactly...wonder how long his contract is ? It would probably be better to cancel it cos if Lincoln dont want him who else is there ?
  9. Bottom line is 19C has so far vanished up his own backside in his open hostility towards MLT that he will be unable to offer you a straight answer. All that you say is correct Wes but small things like facts are ignored by 19C when and if it suits him......yet if it doesn't he will cling to the smallest detail like his life depended on it.
  10. In these days of Internet, e mails, texts, chat rooms, tv and radio i wonder who needs who more ? I doubt Saints need the Echo quite as much as the other way round. And bearing in mind NC and ML have yet to do much wrong I would like to know NC's side of the story first. I think the Echo would be wise to tread carefully and eat a little Humble Pie......just bringing Lowe's name into it is hardly going to help their case as far as the man in the street is concerned either.
  11. In fairness everyone was pretty poor against Bournemouth
  12. YES ! Congratulations, you have finally said something we can all agree with !
  13. Bugger it ! Its all very well people making statements about "the usual suspects" having a pop at Lloyd James playing right back but its not a pop it is a blatant fact - the boy is NOT a right back and if up against anyone who is half decent that is shown up big time. Why do you think that AP put Murty back at the earliest opportunity ? Its not fair on James to play him there. If the opposition dont play with much width then we get away with it, if they do they have a lovely old time against him. The biggest shame is the Murty / James partnership down the right had promise. I would leave James in midfield and play Wayne Thomas at right back myself.....but what do I know ?
  14. Supporters being treated like human beings ! Whatever next ?
  15. Garry - as a postie, or Royal Mail worker, can you tell me why the last two or three postmen we have had in our road are totally incapable of posting a bloody letter THROUGH a letterbox and would rather leave it sticking out of said letterbox to get soaked when it rains ?
  16. Why not ? Look where most of them come from...same old poster just a different ex player/manager/director to have a go at. At least he is broadening his range and moving away from the usual 3 he has it in for. I do wonder if he knows that the "infamous" game at Hull to which he refers was "one of those days" that happen in football, where nothing goes right, including having to play the third choice keeper who has spent most of his time since at non-league then League 2 Torquay !! But I guess he wasn't there and its another stick to beat another ex-manager around the head with. Boring isn't he ?
  17. I assume if it is Luton at St Marys that the Chairman of The Football League will not be attending then ?
  18. beatlesaint

    1984

Tend to agree with all that except your view on Alan Curtis. He was a good player, far far from crap
  19. Draw Man Utd/Aresenal/Chelsea in the next round of the FA Cup. If the last league match of the season needed a win to get into the play-offs then it might get close but otheriwse its down to the luck of the Cup I think.
  20. Is put a stamp on an envelope and pop it in a post box addressed to him c/o St Marys too obvious an answer ? Or hand it in at reception.......
  21. Season ticket holder in the Kingsland, as is my old man. Stand closed. I have bought us a pair of tickets in the centre of the Itchen. Simples
  22. I think some people are getting confused and adding the one he scored for Bristol Rovers twice
  23. no you missed my point haven't you ? I am saying IF it was up to people on this board to pick the team..... FFS
  24. However many Lambert gets, if he stays fit, I expect Connolly to be on more or less the same total as Ricky. 6 goals in 6 starts plus 3 as sub is a hell of a ratio, especially for a man who hasn't played for nearly two years. What a strike force.....then add in Lallana for good measure and oh boy !! Rejoice
  25. David Connolly is a class act......I still maintain all those people who wanted to drop him to the bench in order to change the formation must be out of their minds. Le Tiss would never have stood a chance with that kind of logic.
