  1. Are we just picking up Leeds' scraps?
  2. Molly Pike 🥵 What a result for the team.
  3. Wasn't it Dwayne Johnson's catchphrase in WWE?
  4. MLG mode activated. Alcohol is a depressant, not a stimulant. HTH.
  5. We know Prowse playing further forward works well, he did it under Koeman and Hassenhutl. See it work for him at West Ham. Last season was such a clusterfuck.
  6. Another 4-4?
  7. 😏
  8. Tricky isn't it. Sulemana (and sadly Tall Paul) are two players who have least loyalty in terms of time with the club, and least wiggling room in angling for a move. The problem comes when Sulemana's agent plants seeds in his head about getting himself a big move to a top league. The agent will push it, I'm sure, to get those delicious agent fees. Sulemana probably doesn't give a shit about the club and wants to maximise the potential for big clubs to see his talent. I imagine him and his agent are hoping for a big bid from a club in the top leagues. Whether Sulemena is the sort of character to kick up a fuss, down tools, strike and hand in a transfer request (surely to be rejected given he just signed) remains to be seen.
  9. Precisely - they need to maximise earnings and chances for success. It's a short career, so no point passing up opportunities to get more money or play on 'bigger' stages.
  10. You'd have thought so, but time and again this has been proven hollow - just ask Leeds and Gnoto.
  11. What happens if they break their leg and miss out on their big chance to move to a PL club?
  12. You're absolutely on one, aren't you? Just fucking sit back and see what happens. Tella probably wanted out, Che has wanted out for a while, and Sulemana I'm sure wants out. We've already rejected a few bids for all of the three. If we get a fucking wedge lobbed our way and reject it, the three players would most likely be rather pissed off, don't you think?
  13. Hope he gets on well here and plays to his full potential, whatever that may be.
  14. Yeh, because he didn't bloody bother playing for us in the Championship for a couple of games 🫠
  15. I'm going to give Wilcox and Martin the benefit of the doubt with these signings and any others we get in. Let's see how they get on.
  16. The bloke's a cunt and deserves the very worst in life.
  17. This will be an interesting one to see how far we've come under Russell's training regime. I'd like to see a bit of sense among our defenders, avoiding the idiocy of the Norwich home game. What's the news on Smallbone or Downes? Hopefully at least one of them are back to sit in central midfield alongside Charles. That will really help us as its where Plymouth and Norwich found us at our weakest. Prediction? I predicted a 3-2 win against Plymouth. I'll go for a 2-1 win this time round. The atmosphere will be excellent again. Is it just me or is there a bit of a feeling that the 'shackles' of the PL have been taken off in terms of fan trepidation before and during games?
  18. After captaining a team to relegation 😔
  19. VAR, glad to be rid of it in the Championship.
  20. Bronze has been a bit shit...
  21. We as fans have a role to play in shifting the mentality of the club. Obviously it mainly comes down to SR, Wilson, Martin and the players, but we can help. We need to convert the Premier League losing mentality from the drain-circling and relegation years into a positive winning mentality. To be fair, the fans in the ground have been really positive and the support has been great so far. We just need to keep up with that relentless positivity.
  22. Remember last time we played them at Portman Road. 5-2 and by all accounts we swept them away. That's when I really began to think we could do it. What a fun season it was. Be interesting to see if they can get back-to-back promotions.
  23. How was the away atmosphere? Were they all sober as that Plymouth fan suggested? We've a strong away following and we should give ourselves a big pat on the back. Plymouth played some good stuff, sure they'll stay up and maybe challenge late for playoffs?
  24. 17 years old. Wow. He's going to be a star. Feel like his time is being managed well, too. In praising him, I don't feel the need to condemn Edozie in the same breath. Edozie had a few good moments today, too.
