Reckon they've got a chance of avoiding the drop?
-
Just needs a fuck-off large flag with those statistics printed.
-
I mean, I can't take much more, but I'll never stop supporting the Saints. Hitting the 'final straw' could never happen in the sense of tendering my supporting resignation completely. However a month more might mean I switch off and attend no live games and stop watching streams, checking for the final score instead. Turning to a conscious apathy. That's for my own survival.

Agreed. Would that put us amongst the likes of Sunderland, Leicester, Fulham, Forest?
-
I think he was referring to Jan moving out of the defensive line to apply pressure, then running back to get in line in the box and completely missing a header that was then headed in by Wood.
-
Downes is proving himself to be so limited. Two of their goals running centrally towards our goal with edge of the box finishes. Some nice play up top today, which is reassuring. TP was dominant - at one point he caressed the ball out of the sky with a soft control after Ramsdale launched it long. Supreme skill and calmness of mind - especially as he has a couple of Forest players around him. Would've been nice to score a third but we did have some luck on our side today, too.
-
Bednarek is so poor. Watching his 'defending' for the Wood goal. Wow. Clinical from Forest. Embarrassing for us. Weirdly apathetic to it all.
-
Wait, 'should've been'?? Didn't we do pretty well under Koeman?
-
Poor old Franz and Sofie.
-
It is the lowest attendance weve had in the FA Cup. That's poor! I remember us beating Luton in the FA Cup with a Rickie Lambert free kick back in the L1 days, even at our depths 12.5k is a bloody low attendance at SMS...
-
Be nice if we actually won for once.
-
Isn't laughing a crime there?
-
Should do away with commentary and analysis. Fucking waste of time.
-
Lunacy, surely. A club certain to be relegated, most likely rock bottom with a dismal point tally. 1) Would he play in the Championship? 2) Would we be able to recoup our investment by selling him on relegation? 3) Would Real Betis sell to us? 4) Would Sergi want to join such a substandard team?
-
Exactly how I feel, too. So sad that we as fans can be made to feel so apathetic by the poor management of our club.
-
It makes me wonder why I haven't seen any grand plans on stadium relocation or expansion from the billions-backed Bournemouth...

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/dec/30/jonathan-wilson-newsletter-relegation-zone-clubs-premier-league?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other Decent (not hugely revelatory) piece about the gulf between PL and FL.

Agreed, RM realistically should have parted ways in the summer.
-
Changing the manager doesn't reset the culture or decision making of the boardroom and networks for scouting and directing they've set out.
-
If ever a club needed a complete fucking reset, it's ours. Root and stem.
-
I feel sorry for the fans. Oh, wait... 🤡🫣😞
-
A big portion of fans now realise how poorly run this club is. SR are a bunch of fools; our squad is a mis-matched disarray of players with more weaknesses than attributes. When you look at our central midfield or striking options, you can see how poorly organised the leadership of our club have been.
-
Fair result. Hey, there's always a game around the corner - maybe we'll score more than 1 in the next game? We can but hope.
-
If we lose here, that is a ridiculous amount of losses in total at this stage of the season 😅
-
Does a team like us need decisions to go against us, too? Fucking world against us it feels 😂
