I like it that we can actually discuss how our club is being run. Always good to ask questions rather than remaining blissfully ignorant. I actually think Cortese is doing a decent job, especially with all the recent turmoil after Markus's death. If he got himself a decent PR officer then maybe there would be less people questioning Nicole.

Chambo has a much better touch and overall control than Walcott did at his age. He also has so much pace. He has a decent cross on him already, added to a good finish, as well as a footballing brain. All we need now is to develop him further and he'll be delightfully good. PL quality in the future.

Ratings are relative to the performance compare to the quality of the player. By all accounts we played poorly on Saturday and were lucky that they went a man down.

I fear you're fearing too much. None of the above will happen IMO, and if we do get sold, it will hopefully be to someone with ambition and money to back that up.

Sounds like a comprehensive win, promising for the future!! Dodd is doing a cracking job. Hopefully we'll see a few of 'em in the first team in the future. Our Academy really is strong.

Lambert caused havoc against a then-Premiership defence. I don't doubt his ability. He brings much more to the team than just goals, his assist tally last season shows that. He's just off form, for what reason I don't know.

Come to think of it, he was. Maybe we brought him back too quickly from the groin injury? That sort of injury can really mess you up. We all know how much Pardew needed Lambert for his style of play, maybe he brought him back too soon in desperation. Bring in someone in January. Charlie Austin perhaps??

He's been suffering a lack of confidence since Pardew left. Hopefully he'll bag a goal on his right peg from open play, that should give him a boost and he'll be back. It's just a lack of luck and confidence. It'll come. Keep him in the starting XI, sub him if it's not going his way.
