Matt Targett would be a very, very strange choice. In an area of the field we have already added someone this transfer window, and besides, Matt isn't up to much. I see our areas of need as GK, MF and and perhaps another Forward.

Sporting fans would certainly know a player, considering some of the top talents they've had in their ranks.

It's also tricky as passes forward can more easily be cut out by opposing players - there's only so many options to pass out to, so each goalkeeping pass has to be nigh on perfect. McCarthy isn't cut out for it, but not many are. I guess that's why we value crisp-packet Baz so highly (even though even he misplaces passes).

We knew he wasn't good with his feet. It cost us just the one goal today, but we know he isn't suited to this style of play, like I said in a previous post. He either needs to be replaced or we need to score a few more. I'm sure the club are on it.
