The timing was poor and cost us alot of potential points. We should have got Adkins in pre-season. Then we'd currently be sitting pretty in 1st now, I'd almost guarantee. It's all water under the bridge now. Pardew is history, we've gone up automatically thanks to Adkins' superb effort, so sit back and enjoy.

I personally, for selfish reasons as the only club I care about is Saints, hope they stay down, as then we can try and pinch Pilkington from them. Great effort from them though, and they fully deserve to go up with their great unbeaten run in 2011. Good luck to the terriers.

Disgusting behaviour. They are scum of the earth for doing that and I hope that the young lad isn't scarred by it, hate people that would randomly attack someone purely because of the shirt they are wearing. I would have slightly understood if this was a grown man walking around in Southampton shouting his mouth off, but it wasn't, it was a young kid with his family in a car... Deary me... (Not saying the Grandparents weren't foolish if they knew they were heading through Southampton) The same would happen if you drove through Pompey in a Saints shirt (probably). When I was about 12 we went to Gunwharf Quays to watch a film, my mate was wearing a Saints shirt and we had two chavvy lads bashing on the window driving down there. He got so much abuse from people, and that is what you would expect when wearing a replica shirt into enemy territory. To summarise: • Those two Saints fans are lowlife scum. • The grandparents were silly for not even telling him to cover it up.

I reckon we'll lose 1-0 to Brentford and Huddersfield will win 2-0 against Brighton. Then I reckon we'll go to Plymouth and draw, and then win against Walsall with Huddersfield beating Brentford.
