Ref that quote from Pep re RM, I wonder if Pep is trying to get some goodwill from all the other PL teams? Bearing in mind that a lot of other teams don't like Man City, for the alleged reasons posted elsewhere, perhaps he hopes Saints will now keep RM so making it a lot easier for the others to beat Saints? Thereby making Saints odds on for relegation so that only two more teams instead of three have to worry?

As Rasmus likes to be different how about either Michael Williamson of Carlisle or Derek Adams of Morcombe?

Only a sadly deluded fan could possibly argue against any of that above quote.

Being a Saints fan since 1953/54 means I have had lots of ups and downs but I was hoping that I would see at least one more good season in the PL before I pop by clogs. I am fed up with being a masochist these days ...I want to become a sadist and badly beat up other teams. Alas I think/know with this present management lot, and I include directors, I shall have to remain a masochist.

I seem to remember that the other day I read an article saying that a couple of clubs in addition to Saints might look at Stephen Holland. I am unable to express a conclusion about how keen I would be with him but I am sure some on here will give their opinion. 😀

It's a very serious subject and I can see and agree with points from both sides. I am well over 3 score years and 10 so it won't be much of a loss when I go. At the moment I am in reasonable health for my age and I don't suffer from depression so I won't be asking for assisted ending of life for a long time. However there are it seems more than a few old people who do suffer from mental health issues and some say there is help available. My question though is, WHERE is that help? given all the long waiting lists and past major reductions in facilities. These poor souls are just as likely to walk in front of a lorry or a train. Ok their personal problem has gone but what about the trauma caused to the lorry and train drivers? They will now suffer all because the people who committed suicide were denied the help they desperately wanted.

Just a quick question...has any PL team scored 10 in a match against another PL team? I confess that I think Arsenal will win 5 - 0 😣

Well to an old man ( me ) RM is looking more and more like he is a type of Narcissist. As in their mind they are never wrong they refuse to admit that they are and so they never act on any advice that they are offered. H.G.Tudor on YT explains about such people, he is well worth a look at.

Electric cars are a bad enough environment hazard when they catch fire. Toxic clouds of burning chemicals and 100's of gallons of contaminated water used by fire crews. As some of us on here would like Saints to sign a better quality goalkeeper than those already here. Does anyone worry that with the present goalkeepers Saints will concede 3 or more goals in at least 8 - 10 matches?
