Saints V Arsenal build up & match thread
Saint in Paradise replied to Heisenberg's topic in The Saints
But,but, but Saints have avoided what the bedwetters were frightened of i.e. relegation by a massive amount and don't forget Saints went to Wembley. See us happy clappers only see the bright side of everything so how dare those worried people say anything against that elite manager etc. -
If I was in charge of Saints transfers I would suggest to VVD's agent that he allow VVD to stay until the January transfer window opens. During this time VVD can show prospective buyers how well he has recovered without them taking a bit of a risk in the summer. Also by then the agent will be able to demand even higher wages for his client, easily making up for the smaller amount Saints can afford to pay, and so claim a higher agents fee again making up for any deficit from a summer transfer.

Saints 0 Hull 0 - Match & Reactions Thread
Saint in Paradise replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
What a bunch of bed wetters on here today, how dare you have any bad words to say against anyone who is connected with Saints. I suggest that you all go and support Chelsea and leave the magnificent Saints players and staff alone. Us happy clappers who can never accept any faults from Saints are always correct and those who moan are always just bed wetters. Of course I might just be a tad sarcastic but that is the usual response to any who are not happy with Saints performances -

'Fukushima reactors not stable'
Saint in Paradise replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
A Japanese company tasked with cleaning up Fukushima, the site of the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl, has admitted that its attempts to probe the site are failing repeatedly due to incredibly high levels of radiation. The nuclear meltdown at Fukushima was triggered by an earthquake and tsunami which left around 18,000 people dead and more than a million buildings destroyed. At least 100,000 people living near the plant were forced to leave their homes. High rates of mental health problems and post-traumatic stress disorder have been observed in the displaced population. It has been estimated that around 600 tons of toxic fuel and debris may have leaked out of the reactor during the incident. The latest attempt to harvest data on Fukushima failed, after a robot designed by Toshiba to withstand high radiation levels died five times faster than expected. The robot was supposed to be able to cope with 73 sieverts of radiation, but the radiation level inside the reactor was recently recorded at 530 sieverts. A single dose of one sievert is enough to cause radiation sickness and nausea; 5 sieverts would kill half those exposed to it within a month, and a single dose of 10 sieverts would prove fatal within weeks. http://www.msn.com/en-nz/news/world/experts-baffled-as-robots-sent-to-clean-up-fukushima-nuclear-site-keep-dying/ar-AAnOTZP?li=BBqdg4K -
Well as he seems to talk out of the back of his head sometimes perhaps he sees out of the back of his head as well?

Sorry to sound a bit negative but I hesitate to agree with the bit I have highlighted. A long time ago many fans were saying that the formation that CP was using was foreign to what Saints had been used to and it was failing time after time. I read that finally even the players suggested to CP that he change back and when he did we all know what happened then. These days there just can't be any sentiment with teams as there is now far far too much at stake. You just have to play a seasoned international over a young relatively inexperienced newcomer in this dog eat dog world. As for F.F. I am very disappointed that given his size he appears so reluctant to even try and command his six yard box let alone the rest of the penalty area. I can't think of many players who wouldn't flinch even a little if they saw that massive bloke bearing down on them knowing that GK's, rightly or wrongly, get a lot more protection and benefit of the doubt from referees than outfield players do.

Plus 1 Mind you, when you remember how nasty rats become when living in crowded laboratory conditions is it really any wonder that skates do the same when you consider how / where they live?

Great team effort Sunday, Man Utd and Pompey are the only 2 teams I hate Saints being beaten by. So I am unhappy with end result.Oh well tough luck on me. However in defence of Mr Puel he can only be as good as the players he has at his disposal so yet again it's up to the Board to get him better players if they truly want Saints to keep improving.

When on earth will the so called happy clappers finally admit that Saints are nothing like as good as their rose tinted glasses say they are? Sorry but being in a minor cup final just isn't good enough and they need to wake up fast, anyone else remember Wigan??? No matter how you feel personally about the Premier League ( and Sky ) sad to say but it is the be all and end all and a much much better effort from the Board and other staff must be made to try and stay in it. This slap dash crap that is being served up is patently not good enough. Sorry happy clappers but the signs have been there since the end of last season, they haven't just suddenly inflicted themselves in the last few days. Happy clappers are a curse on any team as they refuse to see things as they really are and still support rubbish regardless. .

Fonte Joins West Ham - £8m Official
Saint in Paradise replied to Saints foreva's topic in The Saints
Some people say that Jose wanted to go to Man Utd but in the end he has had to settle for West Ham. Sounds very similar to a mate of mine in the UK who drove a BMW which was starting to need a lot of money spent on it to keep it at its best, badly wanted a Bentley but in the end financial problems forced him to get an Audi. -
I am a bit surprised at those who are still quite prepared to accept and defend this whole mediocrity from the Owner, Board and Manager. Lots of better minds than mine were warning about what might happen after the last summers events. These people really have the Club at heart and want it to do even better than it has, not go backwards. I am starting to strongly feel that the Owner and Board have slowly lost interest in Saints and don't care as much as in the past. People just have to forget about what happened 5 or so years ago - it is no longer important with regard to now and if it was Portsmouth's F.A. Cup etc history would still be important and they would be in the P.L. Perhaps those who fall over themselves to call people who worry deeply "bedwetters" should just stop pretending to support Saints and just travel down the M27. They will never be able to convince me that they do in fact have the best will for Saints but they would fit like a six fingered glove down there amongst that lot. At least Portsmouth supporters are open about their dislike of Saints and are not acting like a bunch of fifth columnists trying to upset Saints from within. Happy New Year to those that really care about Saints and stuff the rest.

The real bed wetters are those who are petrified that they will appear non PC if they say anything against these would be economic immigrants. They are either too scared, or and I hesitate to say stupid but if the cap fits...to admit that a lot of those people are a potential danger to the U.K. as years go by because these economic immigrants will be importing their hatred of Western society, well apart from their love of claiming money from UK taxpayers that is. PC bed wetters can't seem to grasp that they will be just as much a future target as ordinary people, there are times when appeasement, no matter how appealing it appears at the time, just doesn't work. This is one of those times and if really annoys me that this PC lot think that they have the right to put my grand and great grand kids lives in jeopardy just because the PC lot don't want to appear as weak minded as they really are. In fact I even wonder how long it will be before some PC morons start a campaign saying how misunderstood those ISIS perverts were. I will end by saying that I am surprised that the PC lot can even watch Football let alone hope that Saints actually do well as by doing well it means Saints have "upset" other teams. The PC lot don't believe in that as they hate having winners and losers they just want everyone to play the game nicely so no feelings are hurt.

I have been reliable informed that DNA is as accurate as fingerprints in so much as both can be planted and so be used against you in a Court case.

I quite agree because the more you lot are conned into taking them the less that will try and get to Australia and New Zealand.

Have to agree 100% and in fact in her twitter picture she looks quite normal. In print it appears that she loves and is proud of at least one of her children.

"Cook’s side were struggling to find the fluency of the first half, though, with the atmosphere increasingly flat." Noooo that cannot be correct and that Jordan Cross saying that there was booing must be wrong as well.

So what have you done and did you find the info?

Below is a surprising article from the New Yorker Magazine. This magazine has always been a left wing apologizer so this article is even more amazing. The author. Roy Kaplan, is the political correspondent for Bloomberg and wrote extensively about Obama even before he was nominated. "Who is Donald Trump?" The better question may be, "What is Donald Trump?" The answer? A giant middle finger from average Americans to the political, academic and media establishment. Some Trump supporters have simply had it with the Demo-socialists and the "Republicans In Name Only" class of people. They knew there wasn't a dime's worth of difference between Hillary Rodham and Jeb Bush, and only a few cents worth between Rodham and the other GOP candidates. Ben Carson was not an "establishment" candidate, but the Clinton machine would pulverize Carson; and the somewhat rebellious Ted Cruz (justifiably so) would have been tied up with natural born citizen lawsuits (as might Marco Rubio). The Trump supporters figure they may as well have some fun tossing Molotov cocktails at Wall Street and Georgetown while they watch the nation collapse. Besides - lightning might strike, Trump might get elected, and he might actually fix a few things. Stranger things have happened (the nation elected an [islamo-]Marxist in 2008 and Bruce Jenner now wears designer dresses.) Millions of conservatives are justifiably furious. They gave the Republicans control of the House in 2010 and control of the Senate in 2014, and have seen them govern no differently than Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Yet those same voters are supposed to trust the GOP in 2016? Why? Trump did not come from out of nowhere. His candidacy was created by the last six years of Republican failures. No reasonable person can believe that any of the establishment candidates [dems or reps] would have slashed federal spending, rein in the Federal Reserve, cut burdensome business regulations, reform the tax code, or eliminate useless federal departments (the Departments of Education, Housing and Urban Development, Energy, etc.). Even Ronald Reagan was unable to eliminate the Department of Education. (Of course, getting shot at tends to make a person less of a risk-taker.) No reasonable person can believe that any of the nation's major problems will be solved by Rodham as she is simply the third verse of Obama’s waning swan song. Many Americans, and especially Trump supporters, have had it with: · Anyone named Bush · Anyone named Clinton · Anyone who's held political office · Political correctness · Illegal immigration · Massive unemployment Our out of control federal spending Our National Debt that exceeds our GDP (Can you say Greece?) · Phony "official" unemployment and inflation figures · Welfare waste and fraud Money being spent on Illegal immigrants · People faking disabilities to go on the dole · VA waiting lists · TSA airport groping · ObamaCare · The Federal Reserve's money-printing schemes · Wall Street crooks like Jon Corzine · Michelle Obama's vacations · Michelle Obama's food police · Barack Obama's golf · Barack Obama's arrogant and condescending lectures · Barack Obama's criticism/hatred of America · Valerie Jarrett · " Holiday trees" . Hollywood hypocrites · Cop killers calling themselves Black Lives Matter · Gun confiscation · Stagnant wages · Boys in girls' bathrooms . Whiny, spoiled college students who can't even place the Civil War in the correct century... and that's just the short list. Trump supporters believe that no Democrat wants to address these issues, and that few Republicans have the courage to address these issues. They know that Trump is their way of saying, "Screw you, Hillary Rodham and all the Do Nothing Republicans!" The more the talking head political pundits insult the Trump supporters, the more supporters he gains. (The only pundits who seem to understand what is going on are Democrats Doug Schoen and Pat Caddell and Republican John LeBoutillier. But America does not need a tune-up at the same old garage. It needs a new engine installed by experts - and Hillary Rodham is not a mechanic; she merely manages a garage her philandering husband abandoned. Trump is also not a mechanic, but he knows where to find the best ones to work in his garage. He won't hire his brother-in-law or someone to whom he owes a favor; he will hire someone who lives and breathes cars. "How dare they revolt!" the "elites" are bellowing. Well, the citizens are daring to revolt, and the RINOs had better get used to it. "But Trump will hand the election to Clinton !" That is what the Karl Rove-types want people to believe, just as the leftist media eagerly shoved "Maverick" McCain down GOP throats in 2008 - knowing he would lose to Obama. But even if Trump loses and Rodham wins, she would be nothing more than a caretaker, not working to restore America 's greatness but merely presiding over the collapse of a massively in-debt nation. A nation can perhaps survive open borders; a nation can perhaps survive a generous welfare system. But no nation can survive both - and there is little evidence that Hillary Rodham understands that. The United States cannot forever continue on the path it is on. At some point it will be destroyed by its debt.Yes, Trump speaks like a bull wander[ing] through a china shop, but the truth is that the borders do need to be sealed; we cannot afford to feed, house, and clothe 200,000 Syrian immigrants for decades (even if we get inordinately lucky and none of them are ISIS infiltrators or Syed Farook wannabes); the world is at war with radical Islamists; and we cannot continue trying to spend our way out of debt. Is Trump the perfect candidate? Of course not. Neither was Ronald Reagan. But unless we close our borders and restrict immigration, all the other issues are irrelevant. One terrorist blowing up a bridge or a tunnel could kill thousands. One jihadist poisoning a city's water supply could kill tens of thousands. One electromagnetic pulse attack from a single Iranian nuclear device could kill tens of millions. Faced with those possibilities, most Americans probably don't care that Trump relied on eminent domain to grab up a final quarter acre of property for a hotel, or that he boils the blood of the Muslim Brotherhood thugs running the Council on American-Islamic Relations. While Attorney General Loretta Lynch's greatest fear is someone giving a Muslim a dirty look, most Americans are more worried about being gunned down at a shopping mall by a crazed [islamic] lunatic who treats his prayer mat better than his three wives and who is fool enough to think that 72 virgins are waiting for him in paradise. The establishment is frightened to death that Trump will win, but not because they believe he will harm the nation. They are afraid he will upset their taxpayer-subsidized apple carts. While Obama threatens to veto legislation that spends too little, they worry that Trump will veto legislation that spends too much. You can be certain that if Hillary wins in November 2016 … [her] cabinet positions will be filled with the same people we've seen before. The washed-up has-beens of the Clinton and Obama administrations will be back in charge. The hacks from Goldman Sachs will continue to call the shots. And America will continue her continuing decline as other great democracies in history. If the establishment wins, America loses. Roy Kaplan .

Below are a few words about Hillary Clinton.... WOW what a human being to have charge of Nuclear Weapons!!!!!! May God protect the whole world This is classic HRC. She has screamed at people for years, including her secret service details and the military staff serving in the White House. And this is what the progressive left calls the most qualified candidate? Her sycophantic aids are too afraid and too brainwashed to quit and make this public. WHAT REALLY HAPPENED AT THE NBC PRESIDENTIAL FORUM WITH MATT LAUER ?? DEMOCRAT HILLARY CLINTON’S BEHIND THE SCENES TIRADE AFTER NBC’s MATT LAUER ASKED CLINTON THE ONE QUESTION SHE HAD NOT PRE-APPROVED. VETERAN NBC CAMERAMAN: ˜YOU REALLY HAD TO SEE THIS TO BELIEVE IT...SHE CAME APART – LITERALLY UNGLUED; SHE ISS THE MOST FOUL-MOUTHED WOMAN I’VE EVER HEARD...AND THAT VOICE AT SCREECH LEVEL...AWFUL” “SHE LOOKED SO ENRAGED THAT WE ALL THOUGHT HER HEAD WOULD EXPLODE...IT WAS A FULL-ON MELT-DOWN AND THEN SHE SCREAMED SHE’D GET THAT F - - - ING LAUER FIRED FOR THIS. IT WENT ON FOR AT LEAST A HALF HOUR; WE ALL THOUGHT THE EMS WOULD BE THE NEXT CALL.” NBC Associate Producer of Forum Behind the scenes, NBC technicians and cameramen at the Wednesday night, Commander-in-Chief Forum (Sept 7) report that Hillary Clinton was so angry and incensed that she had been blind-sided by one question she was not prepared for and had not approved in advance. When her time in front of the cameras ended, Clinton shook the hand Lauer extended to her and smiled once more for the wide camera shot and then Hillary proceeded to pick up a full glass of water and threw it at the face of her assistant and the screaming started. She was in a full meltdown and no one on her staff dared speak with her – she went kind of manicc and didn't have any control over herself at that point. How these people work with this woman is amazing to me. Most of the small military audience were cordoned off, their seating not close to Mrs. Clinton, but certainly they heard her screaming because it was loud...and she really didn't seem to care who heard any of it. Republican Donald Trump also appeared, in a separate telecast from Hillary Clinton’s and arrived with his two sons but no entourage or assistants in tow. The NBC cameramen involved in his segment said he was a true gentleman and Trump and his sons spoke to everyone and thanked them for inviting him to speak: it was a pleasure to answer your questions Matt. Hillary Clinton’s segment was much different. According to people working on the sidelines, When Matt posed the one legitimate question about the FBI investigation concerning her homemade server and the unsecured emails, we could see she was beginning to boil and her eyes looked to pop. It was toward the end of her interview so she was becoming unglued by the time Lauer finished with questioning. Hillary went ballistic, throwing a huge tantrum and screaming at her staff, you f - - - ing idiots, you were supposed to have this thing set up for me and you’ve screwed it up! If that f - - - ing bastard wins we all hang from nooses! Lauer’s finished...and if I lose it’s all on you ass - - - - s for screwing this up. Clinton finally stormed off the military set and the assistant producer said she was screaming that she wanted to talk to the idiot who set this mess up...you do not blindside me - ever and continued to demand to speak with executives at Comcast, parent company to NBC Universal. Her dozen or more aides were visibly disturbed and tried to calm her down when she started shaking uncontrollably. That did not stop her from demanding an executive on the phone, now! She was told the executive-in-charge of the forum was ready to talk with her and she was led away by two rather large aides who appeared to help her walk. The TV executives got the message with all of the censuring headlines that followed over the next couple of days when it seemed the entire media turned on Matt Lauer for behaving in a partisan manner and being grossly unfair and critical of the former secretary of state. Matt Lauer was heavily criticized on air by the Clinton campaign the rest of the week with most of the mainstream media joining in. The media appeared to frame Matt’s one serious question as the Clinton campaign was doing...an unfair and partisan attack on Mrs. Clinton. Matt Lauer is still facing major backlash following his 23 minutes with Hillary Clinton. Privately, many reporters said Matt handed the Democrat nominee the expected softball questions, but made the decision to ask about the emails because, the American people deserve an answer from the former secretary of state. Calls were made to New York Times, Washington Post and Huffington Post and Twitter executives with orders to “Crush Matt Lauer”. As you can easily see with all the headlines from these MSM sources, they did as they were told by the Clinton campaign. Hillary also screamed that she would be treated with respect at the debates or heads will roll.Staffers at the Clinton campaign report that they fear her wrath and uncontrollable outbursts, and one described Hillary as "an egotistical psychopath". Since Hillary does not allow any staff to have cell phones when she is in their presence, no footage is available, but Hillary will never let this rest. She has made it clear that she wants Matt Lauer to be persona non grata - for putting her on the spot. Interim DNC chairman Donna Brazile, the first black woman to hold the position, was singled out by Hillary during the rant. She screamed at Donna, I’m so sick of your face. You stare at the wall like a brain dead buffalo, while letting that f - - - ing Lauer get away with this. What are you good for, really? Get the f - - - to work janitoring this mess - do I make myself clear? A female NBC executive said that Donna Brazile looked at Mrs. Clinton and never flinched, which seemed to enrage Hillary all the more. The executive continued, it was the most awful and terrible...and racist display – such a profane meltdown I have eever witnessed from anyone, and I will never forget it. That woman should never see the inside of the oval office I can tell you that. She was unhinged and just continued to verbally abuse everyone – she was out of control ... TOTALLY
