  3. A sneaky way for JP to get a very small payback for RL interferring so much with the team thereby costing RL an appearance fee, something that according to posters RL likes to keep to a minimum ?

  7. Totally agree, I also think that calling someone names like those used actually detracts a lot of the stance that the poster is trying to establish, IMHO

  10. Only true up to a point though, at my age even the fast food / shelf stacking jobs are out of my reach as I am perceived as being too old. Of course that is never the official excuse as that would be illegal.
  11. Many, many, many years ago I read a short cartoon SF story about a prophet who said his world was doomed. He said his world would be destroyed by a great flood. The last 2 pictures were of the planet being flooded and a lab technician washing a microscope slide

  18. Well looks like your fears were well founded Steve Phil Gartside has been at Bolton for 20 years Bolton chairman Phil Gartside has called for a two-division Premier League to increase competition. "It would even everything out and make it more competitive", he added. Gartside, one of longest-serving chairmen in the top flight, believes in addition to making the Premier League - which currently has 20 teams - more competitive, the changes would solve a number of other problems. "You could have 36 Premier League clubs split into 18 and 18 and that would also solve the problems of the winter break and supporting the England team," he said. "We have already got to the situation where the three clubs that go down from the Premier League are usually the three that come up, although a couple of others might sneak in. Phil Gartside "I don't have the answers but it is certainly time for a debate - perhaps even on not having relegation from a second division of the Premier League." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/7687273.stm .
  19. And I thought I was confused before :D I don't understand a word of that
  20. I find the "Big Bang" start of the Universe difficult to understand.I cannot understand how an explosion could create something from nothing, Also what caused this explosion of nothing ? I again find it difficult to understand how so much stuff could be created from nothing bearing in mind that there are billions of Galaxys how could they just appear from nothing ? Finally if they were created from a Big Bang what created the creator of this Bang ?
  21. Very upsetting if they are pictures of "old bar girls" 18 to 21 year olds would be ok though
  22. Emergency services were geared up for a major incident in West Auckland last night. Police contacted the fire service around 9.40pm, after receiving a call from someone saying a room was being gassed at a Hobsonville Rd address in Waitakere. Police thought the incident may have been related to a burglary and several officers attended the scene. Fire service spokesman Mau Barbara says they sent three appliances, a hazardous substance unit and around 12 firemen. He says they went in with a gas detector and discovered . . . . . . . . . . a rotten garlic sausage in a microwave in the bedroom :D
  23. Sorry MB but as you like to post "Hot Pics" I win because my picture of the Earth is "hotter" than the very dark image you posted.:D:D
