Saint in Paradise

Watching all of this situation that has been going on for all these weeks makes me feel as bad as I did last week when my favorite cat had to be put to sleep. The Vet did her best and my cat rallied a bit but in the end she went downhill very fast and so before her cancer became too painful the Vet acted in my cats best interest. I think that Saints time has finally come and Mark Fry should just pull the plug, all these so called prospective buyers have had more than long enough to buy Saints and haven't so why prolong this pretence of having serious buyers and end the agony of the creditors, staff and fans.

Ah but they don't need the money do they ? They are being taken over by a very rich person from the Middle East.......... well maybe, perhaps, if all goes well

I could NEVER blame MLT as lets face it lots of others were taken in by Pinnacle as well. Everyone at times in their life are totally ruled by their heart and not their head, and anyone who says otherwise should really think about what they have just said.

I got rid of Sky Sport in NZ when Saints left the premiership as the only UK games shown are in the prem. They show Spanish and MLS games live as well and I think sometimes Italian on ESPN but I cannot really be bothered to watch. I suppose IF Saints die I will watch some games in the future but I am totally unable to Love another team.

Come Friday and Saints could also be a distant memory :(

The Swiss have been very quiet in their dealings with Mr Fry so who is to say that they have also been as quiet with the FL ? They may also have passed the fit for purpose FL test.

My wife, who is getting fed up with me going on and on about the Saints, says go for the Swiss. Reasons are, she doesn't trust men called Tony and she says he sounds like he probably wears white socks. :smt046

Well I am amazed,( not at GM for his apology as he is a good bloke,) that Pinnacle will finally takeover. I must admit I thought they had blown it, however I will still wait until it's on the BBC before I celebrate.

Perhaps the money man/people that Pinnacle represent were in at the start but within the last few days decided against going ahead. It is sometimes called "Buyers Remorse" as I said days ago so perhaps Pinnacle are now trying to gain time to search for new money men ? The only people who really know are the Pinnacle lot but in the past I have found GM makes very good and highly relevant points even though I don't always agree with him.
