Nerve Agents: What are they? Read and learn as I hope that it will help educate people, although I suspect that some on here will think that they know better than the author of this article ( Yeah rite ). https://www.bellingcat.com/resources/articles/2018/03/08/nerve-agents-what-are-they/ .

The BBC did have a chemist on the 10pm news last night that confirmed that in his view the agent could remain lethal if left outside for years, and quoted from personal knowledge that he knew it had not degraded after 4 years exposure outside. He also confirmed that if in a container, say something like a used syringe, then it could remain viable for much longer. There was a mention in the media (local radio, IIRC) yesterday, by someone who knew the two affected people, that they may have been inclined to pick up something like a syringe. I found that interesting, as a syringe would also have been a viable way to fairly safely apply the agent the to door handle of Sergei Skripal's house. This is all just speculation though, as we have no way of knowing what really happened. .

I have stolen the below info from another website. This is only part of his whole post but it is from a person who seems to have a lot more knowledge about such stuff than anyone on here. "The report from 1995 on the state of the former Soviet Union chemical weapons facilities makes it very clear that they were not at all secure and that with the dissolution of the former Soviet Union governmental security controls there was a significant risk that materiel could be removed from the facilities and used by non-state actors. Places like Shikhany were effectively wide open to exploitation at that time, and it seems quite probable that criminals could have obtained whatever materiel they wanted, perhaps aided and abetted by former workers at those facilities who were now not being paid, and perhaps more open to coercion. If this was the case, then I doubt that the attackers would be particularly competent, or that bothered by the possibility of collateral damage. One possible scenario is that the attackers had a container with the A234 in, applied it to the door handle of Sergei Skripal's house, then walked across town and disposed of the container in an area well away from the house. Elizabeth Gardens has been mentioned, and that would be on a walking route from Sergei Skripal's house, North of the A36, to the least congested road exits from Salisbury, to the South West. There is a network of paths running across that area, with a route across to a relatively quiet area around Harnham where someone getting into a car and driving off would be very unlikely to attract attention. Such a route also avoids almost all the CCTV in the city and avoids the main ANPR cameras set up along the A36 and adjoining roads. This is just complete guesswork, but it does seem to fit reasonably well with the information that has been released so far." .

According to the following article "Bitcoin bloodbath nears historic levels" https://www.smh.com.au/business/markets/bitcoin-bloodbath-nears-historic-levels-20180702-p4zox4.html

Apart from this one of Heisenberg which one of your other log in names do you prefer to use? Which other poster annoys you the most? Were you born with such a big ego or have you cultivated it over the years? Where will Saints finish in the League at the end of this upcoming season?
-
Perhaps when Saints drop well down the Leagues they could end up having to ground sharing with Portsmouth.

I happened to mention that IMHO anyone who supports England and was going to Russia was rather insane etc. IF the following is genuine then I feel my case is proved beyond any doubt. A video showing a group of England fans giving sickening salutes and singing Nazi songs in the World Cup host city of Volgograd, in which nearly 2 million people died during WWII, has appeared online. In the footage, which was reportedly taken after England beat Tunisia 2-1 at Volgograd Arena on Monday, the morons are seen performing Nazi salutes while shouting “Sieg Heil”. They also sang songs which glorify the Third Reich. https://www.rt.com/sport/430370-english-fans-nazi-video-volgograd/ :mcinnes:

Well I think that it's a shame as I always knew I would get a good laugh at his posts as I never took them to be that serious. Now if only we could get of a certain pedantic person as he sends me to sleep as he drones on and on and on.

Don't know what happened but the following somehow went missing. Of the eight dishes 4 were instantly not to my liking prawns, under cooked tuna, raw beef and slimy pork dumplings, well that's what they looked like to me.

Any of you youngsters been to one of those types of establishments and if so what did you think of them? We went out on an organised "mystery trip" and ended up at one of these. The place looked very clean, the staff were very keen, fast and gave excellent service but to me a lot of the food was awful. The platters were *small especially as they were shared by individual groups of four hungry old sods. Of the eight dishes 4 were what they looked like to me, and a very small **thimble sized chocolate dessert. I did enjoy the polenta chips, the cauliflower risotto balls and, only because I was hungry I managed to eat the over spiced chicken. Mind you some of the others at our table didn't eat the polenta chips, risotto balls or spicy chicken so that helped. * By small I mean that there were 8 polenta chips, 4 risotto balls and 4 small chocolate dessert things to be shared by 4 people. ** Thimble sized - if you don't know what a thimble is ask your grandmothers. My wife really enjoyed it but at the prices charged there I am very doubtful that we will be returning by ourselves. .

To me modern Football fans are acting just like heroin addicts who are at the mercy of unreliable suppliers who contaminate the supply with dangerous impurities. Some fans know that it would be so much better for themselves to give it up but they won't because their mind is far too weak to accept going "cold turkey". They can't, or refuse to, understand that in the end they, and their family, will be so much better off not only mentally but in a monetary way. "Football" has changed so much in so many ways over the last 40 years or so but fans haven't they are still living in the distant past.

Russia a threat that we can do little about
Saint in Paradise replied to OldNick's topic in The Lounge
Ah Russia....an enormous copy of a chav Council estate in Portsmouth, London or Birmingham...to name just 3 places. Full of untrustworthy, drunken, moronic psychopaths whom only idiots try and connect with ( like a certain Labour leader does? ) I have to question the sanity of anyone who is going there for the World Cup spending money and risking their health and safety in that place. Would they go to Portsmouth wearing a Saints shirt and hand out money to those locals? Yes I know in the scheme of things it will be minuscule amount but it is still money that Russia should do without. I expect that some Putin apologists will be along to try and ridicule my post but for personal and private reasons I will never, ever alter my hatred for that God forsaken cesspit of a country. They are just as bad as North Korea, several African countries and China. -
That makes you seem like a big girl rather than a bloke. So does this mean that those who say you are someone else from Bournemouth or Glasgow totally wrong after all?

Confidence whilst being important is not the be all and end all. Ability is also required just as much and to me FF has lost a lot of ability since his injury. So much so that I doubt he will ever get enough back that would help with his confidence. A move to a lower league might help him a bit but even that won't get him back to the high standard required by a Championship club let alone a PL one.

Who do you reckon our first signing will be and when?

The cheapest player Les can find and signed at 23.55 on the last day of the window. -
-- the true story of the women who almost went to the moon. In 1995, when astronaut Eileen Collins became the first woman to pilot a space shuttle, she saved front row seats for some very special guests: a group of 13 women who almost went to the moon. The Mercury 13, as they were dubbed, were a part of a privately-funded program in the early '60s to see how female pilots would fare taking the same tests as the Mercury 7 astronauts. Even though the women in many cases surpassed the men's results, NASA shut the Mercury 13 program down in 1962, and the world seemed to forget about these 13 women — until Collins credited these trailblazers for paving the way, and brought their story to the forefront. The program started out in 1960, after Dr. Randy Lovelace, who designed the astronaut training program for NASA, got an idea for a science experiment. He wanted to see if women could pass the same physiological tests as the men. After all, weight was the biggest problem for NASA at the time, and women typically weigh less than men. His first subject was Geraldyn "Jerrie" Cobb. Cobb was considered one of the top pilots in the world. She flew her first plane at the age of 12. At 19 she was teaching men how to fly. At 21 she was delivering military planes to Air Forces worldwide. She set world records in speed and distance, and was the first woman to fly at the Paris International Air Show. By the time Dr. Lovelace brought her to his clinic, the 29-year-old had flown 64 types of propeller aircraft, racked up three world aviation records and 7,000 flight hours. Jerrie Cobb passed all three phases of astronaut testing — the first American woman to do so, ranking in the top two per cent of all astronaut candidates of both genders. Lovelace put out a call to more female pilots to see how they could hack it, in a privately-funded, unsanctioned program. Remember a couple of years ago when several top class managers were suggested like Tuchel and Pellegrini? Does this mean that Les is delaying a Hughes signing as he is waiting to pounce if Maurizio Sarri doesn't end up at Chelsea. I know, I know :mcinnes: but I am just trying to lighten the mood on here somewhat.

I think he might be a more obscure past poster who used to be something like "Atticus Finch " ?
-
Sorry but I have to 100% disagree with that statement as to me people with big ego's cannot accept that they could possible be wrong. However they just refuse to have any discussions on the matter. His silence has been deafening on that score although as many others have pointed out when Saints were doing very well he couldn't shut up and he appeared everywhere.

Perhaps Les and Ralph are not the main problem, perhaps it's that Chinese owner who is dithering about? Perhaps he doesn't want/is able to spend money on Saints as he wants any spare to use to expand his Chinese football business? At the end of the day us nobody customers ( mushrooms? ) of a small club are not important enough to be told until the owner can be bothered. .

Ah but is he unemployed at the moment as that is also very important?
