Yeah, the club really don't need to do anything more than a slight update/refresh. We don't need/want a total re-branding. I really believe the addition of "THE SAINTS" and 1885 within the circular badge whilst also enlarging the font on Southampton fc actually compliments/enhances our current design A few tweaks to my effort below, but really think that would take a lot of beating without upsetting a whole swathe of the fan base!

Now i'm no expert but did that in about half hour using others images and paint. If the club did that then i'd be happy!

Just use this template but reduce size of the shield and then place the scarf/ball/halo above it!

and if you love the roses then why not put the extra two where the water and tree are on current badge.

Yep! That with "THE SAINTS" replacing fa cup winners etc. & have 1885 split between both sides. Reckon that would be enough for a refresh.

So basically very similar to the centenary badge but with THE SAINTS in place of centenary!

centenary badge was also similar.

A combination of that and the existing would be enough for me! Take the existing saints badge, remove the southampton fc from the bottom and then place it within your design (obviously removing the old southampton shield first).

At that pace he might get on the end of his own cross!

I'm not saying Billy Beane wouldn't be a great influence/investor to have on board, but it rarely brings instant success! You'd still get the bedwetters and naysayers on here moaning about something!
