Even if we did manage to move the away fans it would cause problems with existing season ticket holders wanting to move near to them again and others wanting to move away from their new location, a bit of a logistical pickle! I'm just not sure we could sustain the Northam as a true home end without the club making some big incentives for it to stay that way! Its expensive but the easier option may be to expand the Northam, we would get to water down the away support somewhat, police stay happy, fans in other areas of stadium aren't told to move. Expensive but maybe the best solution. 3k expansion would mean potentially 3k more saints fans in the Northam for home league games, different in cup but still more saints fans in the Northam!

They could get the away fans to the Northam/Kingsland corner without interacting with home fans if they really wanted to! Yes will have to spend some money but its completely viable/possible!

I don't know how promotion to Championship is calculated. We play in the Southern Premier Division, there's also a Northern, so any extra spot may not come from our league! Although very favourable i certainly wouldn't bank on promotion even if extra place did go to Southern, recent games against the skates were very close and have to play them again, Oxford pushing on and we still have to play Ipswich so big potential to drop points there! If i had to bet on it though then i think we'll win the league, by a whisker!

Said same business with no capital, a huge debt and disinterested shareholders is planning to build a new larger gym for the 1st team down at Staplewood!

1.5 acres of freehold land opposite the stadium for sale, waterfront, be surprised if the club aren't interested?
-
They originally had plans for it to be a 2 story extension, still very good continual improvement in the clubs infrastructure though!

The official ground name at opening was 'The Friends Provident St Mary's Stadium'. Initially the club wanted the ground to be named purely after the sponsors, but fan pressure influenced the decision to include a non-commercial title.

Games against the Skate women a potential banana skin, they're sitting in 3rd at present so no pushover and will be well up for it against us!

Safe standing: Saints’ big chance to create an ‘end’

I actually think the club have a responsibility to install safe standing! -

WTF! With your attitude we'd all still be living in caves/mud huts and grunting at each other! I know they still do down the road, but not here!

Agreed! Loads of clubs have a football on their badge, big clubs at that!
-
Certainly needs at least this!

Just what they said before current design!
-
I love ours! is it the best, No!
-
So you want modern design then, no history within the badge?

I'm sure they said that before the current design!
